Yep.... I can't see us ever considering any coach with any hint of controversy
Can't blame him. A large portion of our fanbase gave him constant **** regardless of how much the team improved. Hilarious that people legitimately believed that NFL teams couldn't compete with Baylor financially. Shows the depth of delusion from our brightest #TruthDontLie scholars.
Also makes sense since Rhule know McGuire is getting a HCing job out of it, so he's setting up others for success. Hopefully we can get a solid OC. That will be the key hire.

I guess this explains his pathetic recruiting class. He had to lie his ass off to recruits so he wanted to make sure he wouldn't face them in the NFL
Rhule already knows there is a different kind of player in the NFL. The love of the game becomes 'show me the money' at some point. It's a paid job. Not sure how his 'rah rah' that went over as a college coach and NFL position coach will translate as a NFL HC.

If USC announced Meyer would not be a candidate for them if they fired Helton, I can't see us looking at him. As much as it would be great, we can't have him as a candidate.

He can have fun dealing with Cam.
He did a lot of good things at Baylor and took the program at a time not many coaches wanted to, and brought it back to national prominence.
I think you guys should be happy for him instead of angry at him. He took a real chance coming to Baylor after that scandal, and left the cupboard in great shape for the guy who follows him.

Are you saying the fan base is a reason for his departure? That's just silly. This whole fan base was behind him this year.
