Shawn Bell to stay on staff under new Baylor head coach Dave Aranda
Baylor assistant coach Shawn Bell, one of multiple assistant coaches still in Waco following Matt Rhule’s departure for the Carolina Panthers, will remain on staff under new head coach Dave Aranda, SicEm365 has learned.
Baylor athletics has not returned request for confirmation at this time.

Bell, a quarterback at Baylor from 2003-2006, spent his first season at Baylor as an offensive analyst in 2017 before being promoted to coach the offensive line in 2018. Bell remained on the offensive line for the 2019 season.
SicEm365 has no confirmation on which position Bell will be assigned to coach moving forward.
Bell spent the 2016 season at Cedar Ridge High School, in Round Rock, Texas, where he was named District 13-6A Coach of the Year after leading the Raiders to an 11-1 mark and the school's first-ever district championship.
From 2010 to 2015, Bell was head coach at Magnolia West High School in Magnolia, Texas. He led the Mustangs to the postseason every year and compiled a six-year record of 44-27.
