Can the Rhule holdovers not help Aranda with the internal politics of the locker room? Hopefully they aren't part of the problem. And as I said in the transition, hopefully they are here because they are Aranda's choice and there isn't some Steele era like micromanagement from above as to who has some staff positions. That is always a disaster.

How cute. The kid who quit on all his teammates (which included Charlie) and should have been booted off the team is telling everyone who they should or shouldn't be rocking with. Got it.
Yes, I noticed that too, although I would not have put it that way.

Does anyone think Charlie is under the illusion that he has a shot at the NFL? I don't see how would have any chance. If Seth Russell did not get a shot, Charlie definitely won't. That's no knock on Charlie, just IMHO a realistic appraisal of how tough the NFL is, particularly for QB's.

He has zero shot at the NFL or Canadian league. Not a knock but it's not happening.

Agreed. But that was not the question: does he think he has a shot?

I'm sure he does it's every D1 QBs dream to play in the NFL. But if he's planning on coming back next year I'd tend to think maybe he doesn't believe he has a shot

That's what I thought.

I seem to remember seeing a report (probably on one of these boards, for what it's worth), that Charlie told his Dad he was eager to come back. I don't want to open a can of worms because it's premature to start talking about next year.

HaHa. Nice try. He's not coming back. Degree(s) in the bag. Nothing to play for on the field, except potential further long-lasting damage to his mental capacities.

Coming back would be a move of sheer selfishness, mixed with some ignorance. He's getting his senior appreciation send off tour this season on the field. Wish CB well in all of this future endeavors.

Charlie will lead us to a doormat 1-9 season in 2020, and if he comes back and starts, a doormat 3-9 season in 2021, if we play a cream puff non-conf. Friendship and loyalty don't produce wins without the required skills. If that's what Aranda wants, our stadium will never be full again, and welcome back to the Baylor Wilderness. Thanks again , Mack.
