Briles was paid to win football games - period. Just like ever single other D-I P5 head football coach. Because winning football games results in millions and millions (and millions) of dollars to the school. That's what he did....and that's what resulted.Stranger said:
The video presentation was excellent.
But the audio? Horrible. Not even very original. It was a pitiful attempt at poetry. I know third graders that write better than that sh*t.
What got Briles fired? According to the regents it was because he recruited thugs. Yet this POS promotes thuggery with gangsta rap.
Why not play some Baylor fight song music? That would fire up everybody to beat Iowa State. Not this talentless drivel.
My question is, who is the target audience for this promo? Certainly no fans that I know about. Is Baylor paying someone to do crap like this? Hey Mack, how about paying attention to what's going on in your own department?

I am old too, and while I am not a big fan of any kind of rap music, let alone gangsta rap, I loved this one. Pretty cool, and I am so sorry you hate Briles like you do Stranger. Is there a reason for that hatred?

Oh, ok, but why should I hate anyone?
Whoa pardner! Not so fast.1845_Society said:

But when some public relations got tough...the BOR and administration flipped on him and walked him straight to the hangman's gallows to protect their own skin. This reality is long proven now.
The regents, and administration, during that time are the biggest disgraces Baylor University has ever had in its history.

Thee has more posts saying exactly the same thing than the number of days that he, alone, counts. Credibility on this issue is worn out.

Keep trying Thee, it's just Dribble 2.0. Art did nothing wrong, except provide the BOR a scapegoat option.
It's NEVER been a celebration you idiot. I enjoyed the ride more than you because I am a former player with skin in the game. I still have limps, bumps and scars to remind me daily of how sweet it was to win a conference title.historian said:
No one else I know of counts the days since Briles was fired (or cares much). Amazing that someone would still be celebrating after all these years. Even the folks in Austin have long since moved on, figuratively & soon literally.

Biden would be wise to hire Thee as press secretary when Psaki wears out. He's got it down! (Sorry to go political).
I read the thread and it seems like this went down hill because of the "gangsta rap" used in the video. I should note that this song is not "gangsta rap".Reverend said:

No, I only count the days that nimrods still are pissing and moaning about the implosion 1,947 days ago when a weepy post appears here.

For not being a celebration, it certainly reads like one EVERY SINGLE TIME. And if you're not counting the days then why do you know the number? You insist on using that in EVERY SINGLE POST, so much so that it's become a joke.
You don't get it: no one cares anymore! Briles was THREE coaches ago. We have all moved on so why can't you?
It seems like the only person weeping is the one obsessed over a coach who hasn't been at Baylor for years.
