What I've heard is the seabass is the best thing on the menu at Bertie's. I am going there on Saturday and will report back.
I've had the seabass twice and been very pleased both times.

Good to hear, $25 burger and fries meh.

Is this serious?? And I don't mean the "meh" part.
its 11 dollars and change for a #1 from Bushs.. when factoring in the location and style of restraunt, seems "reasonable"
where the hell are you paying $11 for a #1 at a bushs?

Also why didn't he just get the #2, that's a real meal.
if u can't eat 6 tenders, don't talk to me

I ordered the 4 meal last week and I opened it to having like 11 tenders!

I was about to say the same thing. I got my son the #1 today and it had 8 tenders in it.

Bush's always puts substantially more tenders in the box than ordered. I do not go often but that is the case everytime.

And most of them are closer to the size of cheese curds than chicken tenders.

they must hate me, I never get extra. My wife went and got a box 2 weeks ago. She came home with some of the biggest tenders I've ever seen and I think she had five in there.

When I got my box last week, I only had four and two of them were fairly small in size. She got hers for dinner and I got mine for lunch so that may make a difference.

I don't think time of day matters.

The box has the same flavor as the chicken and the gravy.

No jalapeños at Canes. Or gravy. Chicken is far superior to Bush's IMHO. I need to buy some whole pickled peppers!

Yall are crazy. Bush's tenders are far superior to Cane's wannabe Chick Fil A tenders.

I'll grant you Ninfas, but George's is more about the people/atmosphere than the food. I liken it more to Cheers, always running into friends both familiar and long forgotten.

But Bush's is more expensive (Tender Tuesday's aside), has far fewer drink options, has no sauce, gravy is atrocious and has shrunk in half, and most of the tenders are the size of TimBear's brain.

Place is straight dog water.

Canes is trash.

Cane's chicken is better quality than Bush's easily. Bush's has everything else I think I want with tenders like gravy and many sides. The problem is their sides and gravy are trash and after two bites I question why I went there.

I have said this before in another thread, but Waco really needs a Cowboy Chicken. Quality chicken and quality sides. A three piece dark with sweet potato, salad, okra and a roll is way better than Cane's or Bush's.

I guess I have no taste. I like both Cane's and Bush's. Don't judge Ninfa's until you dip steak fajita's into the pechuga sauce. George's is overrated, but I still eat there sometimes.

good answer.. there are like 24000 reatraunts in NYC.

Our family has a rule against eating at restaurants that we can find locally when we travel.

Sbarro is actually really good Italian food…if you're a raccoon.

Looking back on this, Waco hotels cleaned up on people paying that much to watch a 3-9 team this year. Cant imagine how they wreck it when we dont suck.
Winning by cheating is just as impressive as winning fairly, probably even more so. Your opponent was better than you in every way, and you beat them with your brain.

Had drinks and apps at The Brasserie last night and was highly disappointed. Servers seemed very confused about everything, the desserts were just, not good, and the price for what you're actually getting was really out of whack.

The Hotel itself is super neat, very beautifully appointed inside and out, but, can't imagine willingly going back to the Brasserie for…any reason really. A classic Magnolia style over substance situation.

My wife and I are staying at the Hotel 1928 for 2 nights and found it interesting AJ Capital Partners owns and manages the property, not Magnolia or Chip/Joanna. Magnolia has their touch, design, culture and feel all over the Hotel but they do not manage it.
