Adam Flagler Withdraws from NBA Draft to Return to Baylor
Baylor junior guard Adam Flagler reportedly withdrew from the NBA Draft on Wednesday to return to Scott Drew and the Bears for the 2022-2023 season, per Jon Rothstein.
Flagler will likely take the reigns of the Baylor offense at point guard next year alongside LJ Cryer. The additions of Keyonte George from high school and Langston Love from serious injury, coupled with the growth of Dale Bonner, should give the Green and Gold the nation’s deepest backcourt.
With Flo Thamba holding down the center position and transfers Jalen Bridges and Caleb Lohner added to the wings, the Bears are certainly national title contenders yet again.
Last season Flagler averaged 13.8 points, 2.2 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 30.7 minutes in 31 games. He shot 43.8% from the field, 38.7% from three and 74.1% from the free-throw line.
