Parts of Tarrytown are pretty exclusive. I have no idea where Beard lives, but Shaka Smart's house was in Tarrytown when he was at UT and it sold for $6+ million.

Oh ok ..the story listed 1900 block Vista Lane..I did a Google map search to see photos of the neighborhood..I probably didn't scroll long enough to get to the good part of the neighborhood.

Two Questions:

1) If all is true (we don't have the full story yet) is this as bad or worse than Art Briles (who never put hands on anyone and never played any player indicted of a crime). I think so.

2) What would happen to a player who was charged with this?

I wish this hadn't happened. Sad. But he has to go if this is true.

But after all that BU has gone through in the past, I can't help but sigh a sigh of relief that it is some other school having to deal with this and not Baylor.
Tick Barnes was confronted by his kids for calling himself a Christian and not living as one. He has made a big change in his life.

Forgive the insensitivity, but I live in Austin and I can't tell you how many times I have heard "Rape U" when referencing Baylor.

Can we now refer to UT as "Choke U"? Seems to apply in more ways than one.

It's ok man. You're most virtuous. Good to know where the moral equivalencies are. You made a joke about a dude strangling his fianc. I stated the obvious, that coaches need to not disregard their health as many people, most importantly family, are counting in them.

The fiance..was a HS volleyball coach in Lubbock..this is a story from 2020 when she resigned her position and said she wasn't going anywhere else to teach or coach.. Assume that was when she moved to Austin when Beard took over.

If true (agreed we don't presently have the full story) it is worse than anything CAB did per the whole exaggerated so called "Rape U scandal" - but watch how much differently the media - especially ESPN - deals with it. For one thing, I seriously doubt Beard will end up being an eternal pariah as far as being a future college HC goes.

Yes..all coaches contracts have language for moral turpitude.. criminal acts .and bringing embarrassment to the school.

That's how they get out of paying them.
