Not sure how there's a "winner".

And yes, a nobody who came along in about page 15 to jump on Roughneck and the Celtics jock lol
I prefer Roughneck's style in this thread... he uses logic and intelligence, rather than ad hominem attacks and Bronkanda overplayed hype. 3-7 is the new 61-58.

"I prefer Roughnecks style", oh shut up. I've made waaaay more logical and intelligent post than him, you just "prefer" his fanboy and hateful ways, that's all.

Who's your favorite team? Im sure this has something to do with Lebron making you feel miserable for years as well.

If you're referring to 3-7 as Lebrons final record, you clearly know nothing about basketball, as that is wrong.

254, you really need to stop calling people fanboy.

Is there anything more fanboy than wanting your team to lose in the conference finals because you fear what losing in the finals might do to your favorite player's legacy? That is the most fragile, beta mentality I've ever heard of in my life.

I can call whoever I want fanboys. Roughneck has been doing it for the longest, and he's the biggest fanboy. I call it how I see it. To be quite honest, I think you're one as well.

However, me wanting Lebron to not go 3-6 in the Finals has nothing to do with anything. That's just me saying I'd rather see Lebron on a team that will be more competitive to go against the likes of GS or Houston in the Finals.

Im not going to sugarcoat anything and say "Lebron and the Cavs will beat GS or Houston in the Finals". I know they won't.

So you can take that fragile, beta mentality comment and use it on someone else.

LOL you are so soft. I literally can't ever recall encountering a sports fan wanting his team to lose just because he thinks his team is going to lose in the next round. That is just embarrassing.

I'm not soft at all, if I were soft i would've never entered this thread and kept the conversation going for pages.

Embarrassing and soft because I know what the outcome would be in the next round? It's not rocket science Crash. I know you're smarter than this.

That is a weak analogy. It's more like Baylor fans wanted to lose in the Big XII championship game because they didn't want to play Alabama in the national championship. Weak AF. Even if I think my team is probably going to lose, or almost certainly going to lose for that matter, I'd still rather advance as far as possible and give it our best shot.

Answer this question for me. Did you root for Baylor basketball to lose to Xavier in the Sweet Sixteen in 2012? I mean, Baylor had basically no chance to beat Kentucky in the Elite Eight.

That is definitely not a weak analogy lol. It's the SAME thing. Either way it goes, one team is competing against the other.

Id be proud of Cleveland for advancing, without a doubt. I'm just a realist, and I call it how i see it. That team CANNOT compete with GS or Houston. It's common sense at this point.

Baylor had a really good team in 2012. I knew they would beat Xavier, but I also knew we'd likely run into problems with Kentucky and Anthony Davis, although we were definitely playing well.

Back to the Cleveland situation. I'd be more confident in this team if Lebron didn't have to have a hero performance literally every game to win. His supporting cast just has not showed up consistently enough to boost my confidence in the Finals.

crazy how these home teams are blowing out the road teams. Not a competitive game yet.

Game 1: Celtics by 25
Game 2: Celtics by 13
Game 3: Cavs by 30
Game 4: Cavs by 9 (not that close)
Game 5: Celtics by13
Game 6: Cavs leading by 15 in 3rd

Will the Cavs role players finally step up and play lights out on the road? Or will the young Celtics dethrone the King?

Find out Sunday!

I never asked this, but honest question to Roughneck, Fozzie, Atx and etc.

When y'all watch Lebron, do y'all enjoy his greatness even though you're rooting against him? I'm really just interested in your take on this.

I did not get to enjoy his last game in Cleveland wearing a Cavs jersey. Perhaps Fozzie recorded it and will share it with me.

Got home from the hospital to see the 3rd and 4th quarter.

From what i could tell, both teams shot horrible, but veteran leadership kicked in.

Jayson Tatum will be the 2nd best SF to come through Boston. And he has the tools to surpass Bird.

Boston will definitely run the East next year, unless Lebron goes to Philli. Nonetheless, Boston will win a championship in the next 2-3 years for sure.
Roughneck

Celtics could have used Kyrie Hayward and Theis.

Fanboys get hyped about beating the JV.

Lebron gets swept.

Leaves the East.

He sees the Dynasty and wants nothing to do with it.

Lol i always gave my props to the Celtics. I complimented them damn near every time.

Boston will definitely be the favorites next year unless Bron goes to Philli tho. If he goes to Philli, it'll be an even bigger dogfight.

If he stays in Cleveland, he has no chance if i'm being honest.
