yea bear foundation has a self inflicted nightmare on their hands right now. Pricing sections on 200 level at $750/$400 donation caused a lot of higher donors to buy $400/$600 seats thus eliminating all lower priced inventory before any of the $400 donors could pick.

And a lot of the upper inventory that was originally listed at $600/$150 was changed to $400/$150 (to try and alleviate the $400/75 problem), but was still ringing up at $600.

im just gonna assume they do nothing. honestly if they discount tickets, they are gonna create an even bigger **** storm from people who donated more than those picking today due to those who donate less than them getting potentially better seats for less money/less donation. that is gonna piss off as many as it would help imo.


the real solution was to not price the 200 level middle 3 sections the exact same ticket cost as the 100 level middle 3. yes the bbf level was less but that was not likely the concern for many who could have taken those seats but choose cheaper ticket costs. Had we not priced those so high, its likely the 400/600 seats were all taken before today thus we wouldnt have this issue.



or none of this matters and by the end of the day people decide to just pony the hell up i guess.

I would love to have bought the $750 tickets, but didnt have the extra $ for BBF.......

I agree with the solution. However, in that business, the box office manager has been instructed to hold back a certain number of seats (not too many) for all kinds of scenarios, including something like this.

Hopefully, they're able to help, even if it takes ten tries trying to get through on the phone.

I took your advice and called back into the BBF. They pretty much told me (nicely) that I was out of luck.

I called the ticket office and they were able to get me some seats. Very thankful.

We really didn't have the additional $500 a seat to make the $750/400's work for us.

yep as of like 10 or 15 mins ago. lower prices than what those sections were originally priced. and as of late last night, they also discounted remaining sets in a few corner sections down from $600 to $400 but kept the bbf donation required the same.

oh no, the entire section was always the same price. and they opened a bunch of seats in the last couple rows of a few corner sections like 25-30 mins ago at a lower price than those sections were originally and those seats werent even available to pick before this afternoon. not sure if they were blocked for some other reason or what. they are mostly all gone now

Yeah, they changed the $600/150 to $400/$150 in a number of the corner sections. However, there was an issue when you'd click the seats to your cart ringing up at the original price of $600. But the paid rate was still $400 each when it was said and done.

I'm sure there will be some people who were in the $600 range, feeling pissed right about now.
