NIL Has Been Great for College Basketball Unlike Football

While I am not a fan of where NIL is in football, now that we’re a couple of years into this, I think NIL has been a big success in basketball. 

From Baylor’s perspective, NIL has been a clear victory. Matthew Mayer left Baylor for more money at Illinois, but I think that was a good move for both parties. Mayer had spent four years in Waco, and Baylor had a different crew ready to lead last year’s team. 

The Bears have used NIL funds wisely.
