Why haven't we heard an update from whitetrash or CT? Are they still jogging down UP Drive or swimming across the Brazos to get to Foster?
Here I am.
Had the crud last week so I'm moving a bit slow. Been walking around it to get a feel first.
Walls are all painted, but floors probably will get more finish out. Looks like a few displays still to be installed.
It's very very steep. If you've sat in the upper deck of Globe Life Field or Target Field, it's like that. Your cupholder is even with your feet.
Lights are very bright, both inside the arena and on the concourse. Even in the seats (not dim like FC)
Only 2 full service concessions, center court each side. Long lines. Self serve on drinks; they give you the cup.
A grab n go in 2 corners. Bottle drinks, but not sure what food. Chick fil a in a corner at top of escalator with long line. Pops lemonade on the other side with nobody in line.
Restrooms are small, but there are 2 of each on each side.
You can see the court from the open concourse on 3 sides; behind the club level all you can see is the shot clock above the basket.
Student seats behind benches and next to band are full. Other student section up high at other end slow to fill so far.
They got UP open, with a drop off area for the bus to pull out of the street (think the drop off at Magnolia off 8th). They slapped down enough asphalt to make the street passable, but there are huge puddles to avoid. Didn't look at the garage situation.
More updates to follow.
