Anyone know anything about his injury last night? I always fear the worst but hoping for the best. It was a real downer to such a great win last night
In one of the tv replays, I thought I saw him grab his ankle at one point while he was down on the floor.IowaBear said:
See I thought it was his knee. My first thought was maybe a hypertension. But I can't find a clear video. Ankle injuries are always always better than knee injuries
This is correct. He was definitely grabbing in the ankle region and not his knee.Jayman1963 said:In one of the tv replays, I thought I saw him grab his ankle at one point while he was down on the floor.IowaBear said:

Surprised there hasn't been an update regarding his condition today.
After hobbling off the floor against Texas Tech, Langston Love will be a game time decision for the game against Kansas according to Scott Drew.

Scott Drew says he’ll know more today on the status of Langston Love. Said it’s looking more like it will be a game time decision. #Baylor #SicEm

Let him rest and rehab. Loosing to KU won't kill us but not having LL down the stretch and loosing those games we should've won, that's a bad deal.
.@BaylorMBB coach@BUDREW just told me @lhlv4 is a game-time decision in Lawrence tomorrow, but noted he'll be hard to keep off the court. He also joined me in marvelling at Love hopping all the way to the locker room on one leg Tuesday.

"He was strengthening that leg."
I totally agree. He will be needed the rest of the season. We cannot afford to loose him.ImABearToo said:

It's spelled "l-o-s-I-n-g". Not "l-o-o-s-i-n-g".
"Losing" is the opposite of winning. "Loosing" is the opposite of tightening.
Anyway, I also agree with not playing him against KU if he's not at least 90%, but I also hope this doesn't turn into an L.J Cryer type situation where he's "a game time decision" for weeks on end.

This is how Drew rolls. Can't remember the player from last year maybe Cryer?? Who was a GameTime decision for like 2 weeks straight.
Doubt he plays but this at least tell us it's not a serious injury that ends his season and that's great news
