Outside of a couple of stretches in two games, we've been playing without Love for almost two months. Our rotation will look exactly like it has most of the past 10 or 11 games.BearFan33 said:
Poor guy has terrible luck. He's a heck of a player when healthy. This really sucks for him and for the team.
I suppose Miro will get the majority of his minutes. Time to ball out ML.
Langston, himself, said he rolled his ankle.TWD 1974 said:The are conflicting reports whether it's the ankle or knee.IowaBear said:
Is there more to the injury than being let on ? That's a gigantic blow.
Dude just cannot stay healthy.
Talked to #Baylor guard Langston Love about his status for the rest of the @Big12Conference tournament after not playing in the Bears win against Cincinnati.

Without him it's hard to assume we get another week or two.BUCANDOIT82 said:
He wasn't able to practice this week. If it improves there is still a chance he could play in a week or two.
I would have those shoes burned.BUCANDOIT82 said:
Scott Drew announced on The Matt Mosley show that Langston has injured the same ankle 3 different times in 3 different ways…He did not reinjure the original injury. Pure bad luck.
By definition, nothing can be assumed by any team during March Madness. Any win beyond the first game should be viewed as a blessing.IvanBear said:Without him it's hard to assume we get another week or two.BUCANDOIT82 said:

Respectfully, with our coach, talent level, and team year in year out, the expectation is sweet 16. Anything less is failure. That's how elite programs think about this.Crawfoso1973 said:By definition, nothing can be assumed by any team during March Madness. But even elite programs cannot "assume" or "expect" a sweet 16 berth. They have to win the games in front of them to earn it. The tournament is driven by matchups which is why so many upsets happen every year. Can't take it for granted.IvanBear said:Respectfully, with our coach, talent level, and team year in year out, the expectation is sweet 16. Anything less is failure. Not making the NCAA tournament might be considered a failure (witness all the coaching exits on power 5 teams not making the tourney 3 years straight). Losing in the first round if you are a top 2-3 seed might be considered a failure. Getting to the Sweet 16 would have to be considered a successful season for any team. We were really, really good in 2021...we all knew that...but we hit a wall in the tournament against Villanova. No one could make a shot. Without Davion and co. taking over the game defensively, we are out. To win 6 straight in this day and age, you have to be both good and lucky. One injury, one difficult matchup, one cold shooting night, one bad call, and the really good go home. Its why the Tournament is so insane and why I love it. It's the only time in major sports where the superstar program can look up in the first or second round and realize "We are losing to a school we had never heard of."IvanBear said:Respectfully, with our coach, talent level, and team year in year out, the expectation is sweet 16. How programs think about this, or how fan bases think about this?IvanBear said:Respectfully, with our coach, talent level, and team year in year out, the expectation is sweet 16. Probably fans, a head coach should view every title not won as a failure.Oldbear83 said:How programs think about this, or how fan bases think about this?IvanBear said:Respectfully, with our coach, talent level, and team year in year out, the expectation is sweet 16. Earlier today, we spoke to Langston Love for the first time since Scott Drew ruled him out this weekend, as he remains upbeat despite his most recent injury.
