This @aggiembk-@UHCougarMBK game will be fun. Coogs controlled 90% of game in Houston until Wade Taylor IV went off on nation’s best defensive guard. Aggies are a better team now than in December & Coogs are not. Texas HS hoops on display here. A massive test of wills today.

I must have slept through the season. Colorado is an extremely talented team and I didn't know it. Looks like 3 nba caliber guys from the game I'm watching. Made a great run at this.
There needs to be at least 3 Big12 teams in the Sweet Sixteen, otherwise the whole "Big12 is the best conference" is all bullcrap. I've heard that all year, and I just didn't see it. I feel we benefit from a boosted ranking based really on reputation (Baylor's and the Big12 as a whole) more than anything. That's gong to wane if we don't start delivering and getting to the second weekend more.Quinton said:
This team dominated Tcu? I'm getting more concerned by the hour for our remaining conference teams. I think the 3 remaining were the only teams any good but still.
Purdue sending a strong message
I don't disagree but in the tournament it is not a best 2 out of 3 or anything like it. A weaker team only has to play the game of its life once to upset a higher seed. And one conference team winning or losing has no effect on any of the others in the tournament. Still some disparity in the women's game from the top to the bottom, but in the men's game even mid-major teams would not go winless in a conference like the Big XII playing against the top half of the conference. The Chaminades and Loyola Chicagos are out there. You just hope you don't run into one in the tournament. I'm not sure one and done situations are a truth measure of the strength of a conference. But I don't know of any that are.BusyTarpDuster2017 said:There needs to be at least 3 Big12 teams in the Sweet Sixteen, otherwise the whole "Big12 is the best conference" is all bullcrap. Yes, having the winner in 2 out of the last 3 (more, had there not been a Covid year) and if Houston or Iowa State (or US!) pull it off this year, there's no question that we've had the best top teams.Stefano DiMera said:
Well..we've been the best conference about 4 years straight and March Madness results attest to that.
A slight blip in the matrix in this tournament (if there even is a blip) doesn't change that.

Real girl cheerleaders for TAMU? Huh?
Losing LJ was a killer. They'll need to Shead and Sharp to be go-to scorers in the extra period, and that's not always their game.Johnny Bear said:
If the aggys get this to overtime, UH is probably cooked.
