So basically Roach said I don't want to end this 1 OT. I'll just take care of it in 2.

Hard not to think if we had lost drew to Kentucky our team wouldn't be better right now.

Fire Drew…right Ivan?

Question for the fanbase:
Most impressive win of the Drew era since the natty?

You're in denial if you think VJ stays on the court if he's anything less than a top 5 recruit. He was hampering the team drastically at that point and still didn't come out.
Love on minutes restriction, Celestine fouled out, we were out of bodies. But of course you find a way to complain about his 5 stars.

We lead for less than 6 minutes, if you think we deserved that win the way we played you don't watch much basketball. That was luck.

I've had/have my share of dumb takes. But none will top that take

Bonus hoops for regular price

But it was great to see the effort to get back 2nd half.

Villinova nothing has come close. Nothing will until we win something meaningful in the tournament.

I wouldn't go so far as to say we didn't deserve to win. It could be argued that St. John missing 2 free throws to seal the game didn't deserve to win either.

We will be ok. These guys will learn to play together. We played a good team and lost in dblot. No reason to write of the season.

Not sure why he was out there unless it was confirmed cramping. He was struggling to move

I'm not saying fire him I'm saying this team is a first weekend team until Drew decides to build basketball teams again, instead of chasing underwhelming 5 stars and going for high profile transfers over developing guys. He's betrayed the model that brought him success for the Calipari model which clearly doesn't work in this era.

It just hit me. The other beauty of this is that the missed FT was by a kid from Texas who transferred from KU.

This is why you play these games in November. You play them for April.

This team and the coaches are learning what they do and do not have.

If we stay healthy (our turn) this is a dangerous team.

They learned something about themselves today.

Proud of them.

Tenn for the Scott vs. Rick showdown, but these days they are probably besties.

Said in August I thought SJ was the best of 3 opposing teams.
Kinda want another crack at UVA. They whipped us pretty good a few years ago. But Tenn is intriguing. Roach vs Lanier is a big time matchup

We had a lot of games last year where we got down big early and came back. Not sure what it is with this team. The players are different but the games are the same.

But maybe it is. The battle for the rebound and the transition is almost as impressive as the shot.

You only have to lead for 1 second to win a game. Luck has nothing to do with it. That was pure effort. If we had luck we would have won it before we even needed overtime. Sometimes things go your way sometimes they don't, but what does matter is the effort and they fought every step of the way and that my friend is what won them the game, not luck.

I wanna say we had a game last year we were down 19 at 1 point and got the dub. Can't for the life of me remember who the opponent was

Give Roach credit for the game winner but Norchad Omier just played one of the most impressive games I've ever seen in a Baylor uniform. He literally was battling 3 bigs inside the entire game almost entirely by himself and just kept taking it at them time and time again and scoring. The start of the game was a little puzzling with him at the top of the key taking 3's but once he settled he basically just took over the game physically.

We could lose anyone else on the team and it would hurt us but if we lost Norchad the season would basically be over.

Yeah that was an impressive game, he looked like a man amongst boys at times.

Drew has now beaten Pitino both times when tailing by 20 and 18 points in the games .

That's Norchad for you. Every single night he's going to be the baddest dude on the court. Did it for 2 years at Miami.
We need some of that toughness to rub off on Josh as the season wears on
