Ex: The game with KU -- 37 fouls called.

I know I'm gonna like Asemota over the course of his career here but talk about freshman jitters. He plays so frantically it seems like he's just downed 12 Red Bulls and 5 Mountain Dews before the tip.

I didn't say perfect. Tech is a good team. But I'm seeing more effort than in other recent games. We've had some steals and boards. The offensive end is faltering right now.

Unlike Turner, Asemota actually has some athleticism to build upon. He could develop f he chooses to stay in the program and doesn't transfer out.

I'd like to think McMillian wouldn't have 10 points if VJ had been healthy and playing. He's the one defender who I think could have given some pressure to McMillian's outside shots.

offensive is really struggling

defense playing maybe average

we are looking better than at the half in most of our other games, but it ain't pretty

Agreed, I have seen enough of Tech that I was worried they would do to us what KU did in the first half. Instead, we have struggled on offense but are still in the game to some degree.

That which does not kill me, will try again and get nastier

We can disagree. He had length for a wing but no quickness or hops.

Asemota on the other hand does have elite athleticism as far as quickness and hops. I hope he has the patience to stick around and develop. The transfer portal offers instant gratification though.
