I'm wondering that as well. I'm wondering where this team ranks defensively among every Baylor team since year 2000. Even Dave Bliss had some decent defenses, so it is worth researching. I don't think I want to research it though.
Hopefully Edgecombe's explosion is a sign of good things to come in the 2nd half.

Understand how absolutely nasty Davion, Vital, Teague, and Butler were to just will this program to a special D. The whole roster but Thamba were plus defenders and those guys were not going to let Flo go soft that year.
We are 153rd out of 364 D1 teams in "defensive efficiency."
Somehow there are 211 teams worse on D than us.

If it will make you feel any better, Arizona is 15th in the Big 12 shooting 31% from 3. Play Baylor? Resolve everything. Shot 50% against us in Tucson and shooting 44% tonight.

Hes an excellent example of brand name chasing. Had Jeremy Roach played for let's say Nc St instead of Duke he wouldn't have been nearly as coveted. Just a complete robbery at this point.
