When you run a zone, you're not going to foul much. And our zone in particular largely ensures that we won't even in position to foul.

Our foul count is higher this second half with the switch to man.

This is what you have to do at home. Just get the game close enough to get the crowd into it and your opponent to pucker.

I'm the top Nunn hater on this board so don't come at me with that mess, I've been calling his game for what it is since the middle of last season, and I agree roach is a cancer.

But here's a fact omir often hurts us as much as he helps. His career also speaks to that. He's a career foul problem guy, and has only ever played on one good team in his career. Take away that Miami final four team (which he was riding the bench for foul troubles in their best win against Texas) and he's never played on a 20 win team.

He's a dude who gets his stats on bad rosters and and that's exactly what's happening this year as well. Multiple things can be true this roster construction sucks, Roach is Drew's biggest recruiting miss maybe ever, Nunn should have never been counted on to be more than a 10 minute guy, and Omir collects stats while making tons of stupid plays.

This team would be terrible without Omier. With him, it likely sneaks into the tournament.

This team would be much better served with two average or so front court players so we had a stable roster than one overpaid guy. Same goes for roach. The team would look slightly different than now only because we often refuse to play though Omir which is what we should be doing more often.

And here comes the 2nd half version of the weird lapse and this time it puts the game away.

Why is offense so hard for this team? I've never seen a guard-oriented team have so much trouble generating good offensive possessions.

Bro you can't read try again., I said take away that one season with that one loaded roster he played on and he's only been a part of bad teams.

Not to mention that again that loaded roster won their most consequential game with them having to play around Omir's stupid fouls that had him riding the bench in crunch time. But sure he's the reason a loaded 8 loss team made the final four. Let's not start pretending he was the leader of some monster team, 1)he wasn't the leader 2)that Miami team came in with 7 losses made the FF out of nowhere and had a losing record the next year.

It's okay you can admit omir hurts us just as much as he gets tip ins.

Not intended to be a knock on VJ, but showing the difference between constructing a winning college roster and a roster with NBA talent. Two of ESPNs top 4 lottery picks - Ace Bailey and Dylan Harper - play for 12-14 Rutgers. VJ plays for us, and the other is Cooper Flagg at Duke.

Completely random ... Arizona as a basketball blue blood never makes sense to me ... not exactly a hotbed of basketball talent in the state ...

It wasn't a blueblood until Lute Olson got there and brought national recruiting to Tucson.

Hard to be upset about another loss. This team just isn't very good. Don't expect much going forward personally. Get 3 more Wins and lock up an ncaa bid.
