Tech wins!!!!

What a comeback!!!!

Please, if Drew ever retires, go to Lubbock and get McCasland.

Arkansas did what they've done all year. Despite the incredible athleticism and size, they fall into low basketball IQ land for stretches of the game that either take them out of it or give the opposition a chance to comeback. Tonight, it bit them in the keister.

I'm a huge Grant McCasland fan. Have been since his days at Midwestern State.

If Drew had left for Kentucky, I would have made him an offer he couldn't refuse to bring him home.

No question. Tech played great down the stretch, but Arkansas gave them extra chances with some really dumb shot selection and clock management.

Glad to see the Big 12 now has 1 of the spots in the Elite 8. It would nice if UH can make it two tomorrow night.

More coach cal with insane down the stretch coaching. You had a time out and more than six seconds run a play at the end not that garbage.

And the missed and one free throw at the end of regulation.

Proud of Tech for repping the Big 12, and that was without their best shooter, Chance McMillian. Hopefully we (UH) continue to rep the Big 12 in a positive way tomorrow with a win.

Give 'em hell, Coogs.

I'm not a huge fan of Kelvin Sampson, but you can't help but respect the program he's built and the intensity he consistently draws from his teams.

I'll be pulling hard for you guys tomorrow to cross Rick Barnes' line.

Baylor played 12 teams that reached the round of 32, seven teams that reached the Sweet 16 and -- by the end of tonight -- could have played as many as four of the teams that reach the Elite Eight.

This year's team was frustrating, but no one can say we weren't tested.

CBS missed an opportunity by not having Drew on as a guest analyst. He would have been more qualified than anyone in the country to speak on the teams still remaining in this year's tournament.

Best conference I've seen in cBb in my history of watching. I have no idea what the record for teams from the came conference is. But Tech better beat Arky for the SEC is gonna send a boatload to the E8
Final four is the determining factor for me. Big East in the 80s was small, but the year they had Georgetown, Villanova and St. Johns in the final 4 is the standard in my view.

We were tested. As I said on more than one occasion in my academic career, a few less tests would have worked better for me.

Wouldn't be surprised if he was invited and declined. He's been on in the past as a guest analyst, but based on Drew's comments about offseason distractions last year I assume he probably isn't interested in more this off season.

Let's go Auburn, Houston, Tennessee, Michigan St. for no other reason than that's what my bracket says

That is what my bracket says too....but I put down a small ML parlay today for all those teams except I went UK instead of Tennessee on that.

Don't know how tech won but credit to them. Arkansas gets burned for being a roll the ball out and go squad.

Big 12 probably gets another as Purdue is an ideal matchup for Hou.

We were definitely tested, but also correct on the frustration from lack of accomplishment.

We were 2-11 against the Round of 32 and 1-8 against the Sweet 16.

The only game I need tonight is MSU to take out Ole Miss so that there are only* (ha) 3 SEC teams in the Elite 8.

You need more than that tonight. Alabama, Florida, and winner of Kentucky v Tennessee in elite 8.

You'll need Michigan to beat Auburn too.

That's awesome. P-Jack was one of my favorite all-time Bears. I guess it makes more sense now why I like Williams so much. Dawgs recognize dawgs.

But why didn't he make that recommendation to Drew? Lord knows we could use a guy like Williams.

Same question! I need to go back and find out if this was from an interview, then listen to the interview to see if it is revealed there. Imagine having both him and Omier on the court at the same time. Talk about tough to defend!

Tennessee opening up a big ol' can of whoopass on Kentucky in the first half. UK better hope it has a little Tech grit in them early in the 2nd half of Rick Barnes will be in the Elite 8.
