Why isn't Powell playing more? Is he hurt?

Not a good sign that somebody like Tarleton State has absolutely destroyed us on the boards.

Two steps forward Sunday night. Step to a step and half backward tonight. Kinda what you'd expect with an entirely new team in only their 3rd game.
We have a team who can shoot the lights out. From the opposite spectrum, thank god there's no Press Virginia in the Big 12. I'm not sure this bunch (other than maybe Williams) could break a press.

It's clear that given Bodo Bodo's completely unknown status we have no "plan B" for rebounding and at least a modicum of rim protection if Powell gets in foul trouble.

Powell being limited to eight minutes had a lot to do with that. But rebounding is probably going to be a constant struggle for this team.
Losing Bodo Bodo sucks so bad. I think we'd be really good with him healthy.

There were some positives.
--Carr is a stud. He's emerging as our go-to guy.
--Williams is legit. He's going to play 25-plus minutes a game for this team and be a significant contributor.
--Agbim is really steady with the ball and a marksman from 3. He continues to handle the combo guard role wll.
--We shot well from the field, 3-point range and the free-throw line.
--Skillings is the blue-collar stat stuffer we all knew he was.
--This team is really balanced offensively, so we don't need too rely to heavily on any one player.
We've just got kep playing together and get better. The defense can use some work, obviously, and we've got to rebound better. But this team has the puzzle pieces. Just need to put them together.
