The way Rob Wright stiffed us and the way we handled it by being passive pu$$!es is so emblematic of Baylor sports in the past decade. Our alleged sins are well in the past and we need to get our edge back. First step is to start holding athletes to contracts. You wanna play grown up, then pay the price when you break a contract! Start taking these punks to court.

This is right. I don't understand why Baylor didn't enforce the contract. Not sure I've even heard that question asked of the coach or AD

Almost had a comeback for the ages but it was too little too late. Giving up 99 points at home is sad. Having zero wins over ranked teams this year is sadder.
Unfortunately, I see no reason to expect we will do better vs Louisville, Arizona, or Houston.

We don't have a real media in Waco that is why. Everyone is too buddy buddy for access.

I'm struggling to see the path we take to change that.

This team is tough to watch. Turnovers and a general lack of team play. Drew really has his work cut out for him.

What the **** you talking about ? He picked this team. Has had them since the summer. They are getting worse as the season goes on - this is a Drew issue. What the **** are we paying $5m for ? Anyone of the dip****s on this site could have put out a better gameplan for tonight.
Hell, put the Tapps 4A white kid on the court and tell him to body Wright until he fouls out. I don't get this lack of physicality and mentality with these coaches and players.

This can't happen again next year. We have 5 years of solid data showing we are an injury prone program, for whatever reason(s). I understand and support why we redshirted two guys this year, but we've gotta get to a point that we have guys at the deep end of the bench who can actually play if called upon.
In case it isn't clear in text, he meant this genuinely.

(Reading between the lines, sounds like he was glad the chants didn't go in a derogatory/religious direction.)
Thank you Baylor Fam for the Great Turnout and Energy you gave us. Appreciate u ALL! # Sic’Em

Zero bench points. ZERO! Rataj 0-3 from the field, 0-2 from the line.

Whoever scouted Rataj needs to be removed. Just can't miss like this. Can't believe this site watched him this summer in the program and were unanimously convinced he was the best player.
Pretty much everyone posting here would only need about 5 minutes of watching him up close to know he just didn't have it.

Why did we recruit an nba player when he never sees the court?

A long time ago, at the HOT Coliseum, Baylor played BYU. I think it was about 1979 or so, and I was there. We lost in a close game. Danny Ainge played on that BYU team.
Back in those days, students were allowed to sit on the floor behind the baskets and along the sidelines, as I recall.
What Baylor students did that night was constantly sing "I'd like to buy the world a Coke"....which was a famous Coke ad. Of course, Mormons don't consume caffiene.
Pretty tame by today's standards, but still pretty creative and funny.
That's a great story. Thanks for sharing!
My wife asked this question but are students at BYU allowed to have caffeine? I told her probably but thought I'd ask.
Scott Drew: "Obi, I don't know what he did, but he got injured early in the game."

Says Agbim is less than 100% and that he appreciated his toughness to continue to play.
