It's fun to watch Saint Louis's spacing and ball movement.

That team moves and shares the basketball so well. They're really fun to watch.

No one on that team cares who scores, as evidenced by the fact that they have seven guys averaging between 9.2 and 12.7 points per game. They try to get the best shot every possession, and usually do.

Wild end to regulation in St Louis.

OT in St Louis coming down to the wire. Kentucky and Santa Clara just trading punches.

Santa Clara may have just settled for one three too many.

This is one of the best games I've seen all year. But that last possession was a killer for Santa Clara. You can't give up runout dunks in a game like this.

That point guard killed Santa Clara with his selfish play.

Took two terrible 3s, both of which were blocked by taller defenders.

The first one they could have survived, but he did it again the next time up the floor. He wasn't even that hot. Mahi was their on fire three point shooter.

This Wright State-Virginia game has been a great one, too.

This has been an awesome tournament so far.

That's a massive loss. That's almost as big of a ceiling-limiter as Tech losing Toppin.

I hope it's not as bad as it looks because this Iowa State team can do some serious damage if healthy.

I have it on good authority Jefferson's out for the rest of the tournament

That sucks for Iowa St and Jefferson. They can still get by Kentucky if they're hitting 3's as usual. But from there it becomes really difficult. Jefferson is particularly built for the tournament, where physical play is not only allowed but rewarded (as witnessed by a stat today they showed where average fouls in a game during regular season is 36.4 compared to 28.7 in the tournament).

For all of yesterday's excitement, 7 of the first 8 games today look to be guaranteed chalk, with only the 8/9 UtahSt-Villanova outcome up in the air.

Not surprised unfortunately. It looked bad.

That really sucks for Iowa State, though.

Not sure where you got that but from what I am hearing its 50/50 for the Kentucky game and a negative x-ray. A low grade ankle sprain.

I have buddies on the strength & conditioning teams in Ames. One of which is with the ream in SL. His words if he plays it'll be the miracle of all miracles and that he wouldn't be anywhere close to 100%. My sources are almost always spot on.

UCF loses by 4 points to UCLA.

UCF missed 11 FTs while shooting 31% from the stripe.

Over 8 minutes in and there have been a combined 4 shots made in Kansas v Cal Baptist.

It's kind of a joke to me that the Big 12 only got eight teams this season after the SEC got two thirds of its league in last year. Hell the SEC got 10 teams this year, including a mediocre Missouri team that's outside of the KenPom top 50.

Every Big 12 team that finished .500 or better in league play should have gotten into the field.
