Names to pay attention to:
Dylan Mingo
Matt Able (Wing, NC State)
Eian Elmer (Wing, Miami Ohio)
Mitchell Holmes (Big, SMU)
Justin McBride (Forward, JMU)
Nils Cooper (Guard, UC Davis)
Tylik Weeks (Forward, Southern Miss)
(some a lot less notable than others)
Elmer would be interesting. He went nuts in Miami's play-in game.bear_kessner said:
Elmer is looking like a commitment today or tomorrow
Baylor or Wisconsin
Asking people who go to work every day, and who will make less money in a decade than your top players will make in 5 months, to “donate” is just so off-putting and out-of-touch.

Go get the money from businesses and business owners. Don’t beg your fans for cash on social media. https://t.co/v3XVb2ykaA
Not sure how fortunate these college basketball players know they are right now.

We got guys who averaged single-digit points a game last season making nearly 4 million this year.
And all guys got 10, 15, 20 years ago was a scholarship and a bagel — without cream cheese.
Welcome to Wisconsin, Eian Elmer!

The 6-7 wing averaged 12.7 points per game last year and shot 42.9 percent from beyond the arc.

Starting to get heavily concerned about our front court next year. One big returning from nerve damage, the other has never played a college game. One wing coming off an ACL injury (and has never played a game in college), the other never having played a college game. And the final wing, an incoming freshman who has never played a college game.
Basically, at the moment, our entire frontcourt consists of a guy who played 2 years in the Big South (and against 2 High Majors in that timespan) and 4 other guys who have never played a game in college. Not many quality High Major level front court players left in the transfer portal either. But, hopefully Drew has some connections with potential foreign frontcourt players who are as good as some in the portal.
Maybe it's still the nerves from us finishing in a tie for 13th place this year, but I'm starting to fear another down year. Talk me off the ledge. Please!

Elmer was more of a wing than a front court guy yeah but CSD and company need to find another body soon
Fingers crossed for Machot at the moment

We only play one big in most of our lineups, and Scott Drew's track record developing posts is damn near unmatched.
I'm not too worried there. I think we'll eventually be OK in the frontcourt.
SOURCES: All-American guard Christian Anderson is likely to withdraw from the NBA Draft and enter the transfer portal before Tuesday’s deadline.

Programs already circling include Houston and Duke with many more expected.
One of the biggest portal dominoes is about to fall. 👀 pic.twitter.com/kYghujSYM3

Very true, I'm ready to break that trend though, feels like its been forever since we had multiple guys with size and talent

Whole team except Drew Perry about to hit the portal. Mingo, Decker, and Isaac flip to BYU. Five for five passes and we bring back a three-man roster of Perry, Skillings, and Powell, each earning 4 mil in NIL. All three tear their ACLs.

- Obviously struck out on Eian Elmer after having him on campus
- Evan Chatman (Big, UAB) visited yesterday, no commit, we'll see how it plays out. Syracuse, Tulsa, Seton Hall are other teams pushing for him
- Isaac Celiscar (Wing, Yale) is on campus now, Kentucky is trying to make a push so ideally we can land a commit before he leaves Waco
- Chol Machot (Center, Charleston) should be visiting on Thursday
Other notable names:
- Matt Able (Wing, NC State) looks like hes going to UNC
- Sebastian Williams-Adams (Forward, Auburn) entered the portal, Baylor offered him as a recruit last year
- Baylor contacted Ring Nyeri (Forward, Northern Colorado)

Not great. Hopefully one of the more proven role players will commit. Mingo was a strong pickup and the 3 pt shooting 6th man (hopefully) is a good idea.
But unless Tounde is retained, this is looking questionable. Still have some patience to see things play out.

Tounde officially just entered the portal

Capable starters, but I think they're both better suited off the bench. Like I said, a guy could move into the starting lineup and I wouldn't mind
