Man it's awesome when Wainwright hits 3s.
he hit 40.6% last year (28-69), but yes we are much better with him as a threat. he started slow this season, but no reason to think he wouldn't pick it back up.
I'm just saying it's awesome when he scores. He does so much for this team that isn't scoring. Always great to see him score.

agreed! just saying your tone insinuated that his shooting is bonus, which it is, but last year he proved he is a legit shooter and we should expect him to be knocking down shots. your point stands tho

Was Cory Jefferson an ESPN top 100 guy? He was drafted.

He looks to be a very solid player. I said earlier he runs like a gazelle. Could be a huge factor in fast break scoring.

Crazy to see teams like UNC and Florida around that time wanting him. I forgot he was that highly coveted.

that was a nice adjustment and reverse by King, great body control. he can score in a lot of ways. this guy is going to be special by his senior year, at least as a scorer

Jonathan Davis just got capped twice in a row. But King McClure with a dynamite LeBron block!

He could play himself into an early 2nd round pick in a few years if his offense becomes as good as it can be. Not sure if he has the ideal size for an NBA 2 guard though.

these are the type of performances that go a long ways in helping our kenpom rating. just a dominant and efficient performance on both sides of the ball. this is what great teams do against poor teams. especially after the long lay off, it was nice to see.

if he can guard an NBA 2, he will have a good chance to play in the league. I know he can score. he's pretty damn good defensively, so we'll see!

I hate games like this. We jump out 40-16 and then spend 25 minutes of game developing bad habits. Kinda stupid
you develop habits in practice, not in games. it's human nature to coast when the game is no longer in doubt. we also have a a game soon and then a "game" the next day. this isn't a big deal, it's just frustrating to watch.

also temporary, we have picked it back up! amazing what 3 balls do to perception.
we killed them. It was never in doubt.

I'm okay with a laugher, but don't like 4 in a row before conference. We are too good to do this, frankly. It hurts us.

I get it. Scheduling is really hard. Teams aren't knocking down the door to play at Baylor. Good teams want to play you neutral or their homecourt. It is amazing we got Xaiver to come to Waco. Oregon was obviously a home and home as part of the 24 hour of hoops marathon. It would be nice to have a road game before conference but this is a really damn tough schedule. Just happened to be all front loaded.

I was just explaining how genius I thought the schedule was to someone. also helps a lot to ease Omot into the rotation to play these teams... agree to disagree that it hurts us.

I approve this message

I only caught a few minutes plus the game thread. Seems we are still pretty good after our break

despite playing a poor opponent we temporarily jumped UCLA to move into the top 10

D up to #11!
