Iowa St. and K-State desperately needed signature wins and both of them knock off Top 5 teams.

Horrible call. Why run a lob play at the rim? Everybody knows you have to put it right back up.

I'm honestly surprised our team did not look interested in the game until the final 10 minutes. Drew asked for a crowd, it showed up, the team didn't though.

Good call. Best player needed to be more physical. BTW, we got a home cooking call that gave us an extra possession and wasted it.

Big time wake up call to this team. They need to play for 40 minutes from here on out or it won't be pretty.

Don't understand why we didn't take 4 steps in the lane and dunk that ball. Home team is allowed 4 steps against KState at the end of games.

We held a B12 team to 19 2nd half points and still couldn't win. We need to come out w/ the passion we played w/ in the 1st half going forward. Push the ball and attack. To much dribbling and standing around early and K-State took advantage. Incredible comeback again but tough to lose it that way.

Great lob to Motley but we are probably one of the only top teams in college who don't have a player to create in a situation like that.

Love and appreciate Motley, and I know DJ Johnson is physical down there, but man he seems to be missing a lot of bunnies. Makes a lot of high difficulty shots too though.

Best thing that coud have happened to us. This teams starts slow when it thinks it is better. This is a lesson as to what March Madness will look like if we dont learn to play with energy the entire game.

how are those not fouls on Motley ? Motley should have been shooting free throws at the end and the play before

Good thoughts. I truly hope that sinks in from this experience.

Screw around for 30+ minutes with weak ass guard play and this is what happens. Our guards need to play more with an edge and stop playing soft and sloppy. We would have beaten Kansas and KSU and sitting with one loss at No. 1 on Monday. Motley is awesome but he can't carry an entire team.

Just play McClure or Mitchell instead of Freeman, give Ish smelling salts, and tell Manu to play to his size and athleticism not beyond it.

Scott Drew deserves coach of the year. He's done far more than anyone could with this talent. If we can get sharper and smarter play by our guards and Ish then we can make a serious run in March. If not, then I want as low a seed as possible to avoid the embarrassment of being knocked off by a talented upstart in round one.

We haven't been playing well in the last 2-3 weeks. Our guard play has to improve. Frankly, coach probably needs a much shorter leash on them. We probably have a sweet 16 cap this year and that's ok. This roster doesn't have one top 100 player on it. Barring a really hot run we are a better named butler type team. Nothing wrong with that.

If Motley expects to play in the NBA, he has to go up strong and dunk it or get fouled. You can't expect to lay it up soft when the defense is fighting for their NCAA life. I haven't seen him use a pump fake in ages.

If you have a heart condition I would not recommend going to K-State games in Waco. Last 6 seasons have had three 1 possession finishes and 2 more double OT games. We're 3-3 against them at home the last 6 seasons after winning the last 3.

This is going to be a stressful rest of conference for everyone.

Another week of top teams going down.

#2 Baylor, #3 Kansas and #5 Arizona are going to lose today.

What you have right now in the B12 are 3 teams that know they are in the big dance and are just playing for seeding and a reg season title but really seeding. Every team besides OU and UT could get in but needs to get some skins on the wall. Two of those teams got their skins today.

Every game from here on out will be played with March type intensity assuming OU and UT do not totally give up but I think even those 2 teams are going to punch their opponent in the mouth a few times before going down and will probably get them an upset or 2.

Played hard both mentally and physically for the full 40 minutes or lose.

Starting slow and an inability to make free throws consistently will get you beat.

This Baylor team is good. In fact, at times, it is very good. The problem is inconsistency. We just can't seem to put together a really solid performance for 40 minutes.

At home, this is a game we should have won. Disappointing loss.

Interesting to see where we fall in the rankings.

#5 Arizona is losing by 30 right now @ Oregon. Wow.
