If Mayer dribbles it past half court, you know what's happening from that point forward. Dribble the air out of the ball, never look for another open player and then jack up some wild ass shot while completely covered. He is so much better when someone else is handling the ball and then passing to him where he has time to set himself.

How is it that the ref across the court makes a call for a foul when the guys staring right at it within 2 feet didn't. I'll never understand that crap. One is in the play, the other has no real look and still blows a whistle

So refs being refs again... second series in like 20 sec... how the one staring at the play calls at an offensive foul, and the one on the back end again overturns him and calls it a defensive foul.

Struggling with length at both ends. We've shut down Cooper. He's 1 of 7 and hasn't been a factor.

Not shooting as well from the outside as usual so hopefully we return to the norm in the 2nd half. Not many 2nd chance points due to their length.

We look bad overall... No one appears to close out on shots to keep them from getting the easiest rebounds or put backs. Guards are looking good defensively as they've caused a good number of turnovers. Mayer dribbles too much and puts up shots he shouldn't most times. Auburn's size has caused quite a few missed layup/jumpers. Overall bad half, but could have been much worse.
