Game ball to Sarah Andrews. Perhaps Asberry is starting to get comfortable. A game without much production from Smith and Lewis, and we still got the win. So some things to smile about. Egbo is so athletic. I wish she could put all the pieces of her game together this season. She is desparately needed.

We have got to do better job of making sure three points are contested. I saw at least four uncontested threes that all went in. We have great players/ Iif we can take some of the sloppiness out of the way we play we are a ten to fifteen better point per game team and can finish well.

Good road win to build on.

I liked the hire. But, if you think these ladies are well coached right now you may need to watch more ladies hoops. Their d is not good, and their offense doesn't adjust as the game goes. Rely on one on one. Sorry, my tune has changed on her. I was excited on this hire. Just not now.

Saying that, watching her offense and defense I would bet she wants to have longer more athletic players. I see her wanting to be full court press and run. She can't do it worth this team. That is my assessment.

As tough a week as I can remember for Baylor fans in quite a while; our athletic program has made winning somewhat commonplace. So, I salute the Lady Bears for putting BU back into the win column!

Baylor kid, this is my main reason I have soured on coach. Her adjustments to her current players has me really concerned. Her in game adjustments are not good in my opinion either.

It is, the roster was a mess when Nicki came in. She has to build back the depth and quality. Give her time. She has BIG time players on the way and the portal to use.

Yeah no! The roster was not a mess! You need to stop Saying that! We've had the same conversation over and over again! Our 6-7 players we play are good enough to win but it's our defense that is killing us!

I would love to see it happen but that's over optimistic. It's unlikely anyone will ever match Mulkey's record: 600 wins faster than any other coach (WBB or MBB), only coach to win natty as player, assistant & as HC plus an Olympic gold. Probably impossible. If you're only talking about wins & national championships, it may be possible but still highly unlikely.

I'm all for success but let's be realistic with our expectations. We probably won't get a natty this year but making a decent run in the tournament is definitely possible. We will probably won't win the Big 12 this year but we can finish in the top half.

For real! I don't know why I even bother

Criticizing the work CNC has done to this point doesn't make one a hater. Just a realist. She has the pressure to preform with a solid group of players. The players she is putting on the court are 2x as good as Kansas' roster. That game should not be close. She can implement her system, but she has to work with what she has. She isn't doing a good job of that yet.

Absolutely my biggest complaint of Coach. Extremely. disappointed in what I have watched thus far. I thought she'd be better than she is. Just disappointed.

That's great news. She is huge in our potential success this year.

We have a very stable seven rotation. Eight would be ideal, but many teams only have seven who play meaningful minutes.

Low numbers may make it a little more difficult for practice, but don't we have five or so guys to help with that?

Lots of talent, pedigree, and game experience among these seven. In my opinion, the talent among those seven, is comparable to or better than the talent any other Big 12 team puts on the floor. Even if another team like KSU has a true big inside, there are ways to combat that effectively with the talent we have.

I never dreamed I would be so excited about a conf win over the Kansas women. But I am!!! We snatched victory from the jaws of defeat. I will agree defense is abysmal. What is the problem? What has happened to Lewis??? For me - I had MUCH higher expectations for this team. They were picked to win the Big 12 you know...

This is the same reason I decided not to go to the Sugar Bowl this year. I think we have lost all but one of the bowl games I went to recently. I went to the Fiesta Bowl, the Cotton Bowl, and the Georgia Sugar Bowl, which were L's. I did make it to the bowl game in Houston where we beat Vandy.

I decided to sit out this year's Sugar Bowl to evaluate if I was a jinx. UH OH, My traveling buddies say they will pay me not to go to any more bowl games.
