Curious... WV is ranked #23 with a 18-2 record, 7-2 in conference. Did they have a really weak non-con schedule? There are several top ten teams with 2 or more losses.

Their only P5 noncon opponents were Pitt and PennSt. PennSt was ranked 25 at the time and is in 5th or 6th in the B1G, but Pitt is at the bottom of the ACC.

#22 WV spanked Tech 82-59. WV is a team to watch out for, they are 20-2 after this game. I think bench played entire Q4; they have a LOT of height.

#17 OR State up 20 on #3 CO at half at CO . OR State unranked until the past few weeks.

P12 is the best and deepest league this year imo

Unranked Nebraska bests #2 Iowa 82-79. Clark 8 points shy of breaking scoring record.

#15 Louisville falls to #23 Syracuse 73-72.

#20 Utah beats Oregon 70-48. Utettes were only up by 6 at beginning of second half.

#3 CO goes on 15-0 run, but falls to #17 OR State 65-59. Second win by OS over CO.

#11 UConn loses to #1 SC 83-65. Sad Lobo.

All 6'7" of Cardoso was with her national team in Brazil! SC looks like they can beat you playing any number of styles. Defensively they took UConn out of their game for the most part. Dawn Staley appears to have 8-9 players that could start/contribute on any team in the country, IMO.

I think these games indicate that many teams considered good can get beat when playing supposedly "weak" teams, and especially on the road. Some of them have had this happen more than once. It is part of the WBB landscape now. Just about any team that can walk and chew gum at the same time can beat the supposedly better, sometimes much better, team if that "better" team can't hit the ocean or just doesn't play well. It happens. It doesn't mean the program is going into the dumpster.

It isn't happening to SC as they seem to be far and away above everyone else this year. Perhaps some of our posters should go to those message boards and tell them how they should coach their team and run their program. I am sure they would appreciate it.

It probably also goes to show that some of these "weak" teams, even those with .500 or so records are not always so weak after all.

You know transitive doesn't mean squat in sports. Based on our beatdown of TT and the TT near upset of UT in Austin, UT is the pits, and we know that isn't true. It all depends on who is or is not hitting shots. If you don't, you lose regardless of who it is. The other thing to think about TCU is that yes, they have walk-ons, but they play little. The team on the court is D1 scholarship players.
