No coach can win a championship without adequate NIL support
And going further the poster uses that as proof (all you need to know) that administration doesn't care whether or not BU is highly competitive in the sport.Stefano DiMera said:
How the hell do you know or can tell she doesn't have the drive or fire to win championships?

More reality. It is too early to determine and adamantly state for certainty what we got.Bobby20 said:

I'm talking National Championships not Conference and all the major players, Liz, Queen, etc. were Kim's players. Win one now and it will be CNCs as all but Sarah was brought here by CNC.
Other schools with NIL didn't win that championship. CKM will win in whatever system or environment she is in, because she knows how to coach and win games. LSU will win as long as she is their coach. WBB is not a priority at Baylor anymore, nor even on SicEm 365 - just go look how out of date the women's basketball pages are and the lack of articles.IowaBear said:
That's where you and I will always differ. You and a handful of others attribute Kim's LSU success to NIL. I attribute it to 20 years of data that support her as literally a top 3 coach of all time. She was always going to win big at LSU and yes Reese helped her.. just like star players help coaches literally yearly.
The program hasn't improved since Kim left. It has declined. CNC got behind in recruiting when she was hired and hasn't recovered. I will grant you that without the admin's commitment to NIL or the program, she won't be able to effectively compete at a high level. It may just boil down to BU can't raise the NIL to support any more programs than football and MBB. CKM would have insisted on adequate NIL for WBB to keep her program.fredbear said:
I am pleased with coach NC progress. The program will keep improving. Truth is the landscape has changed no matter who was BU coach. SC and UConn already have losses this year. The 40 and 0 seasons are over for everyone. And yes LSU will have losses this season. They are playing weak competition and not crushing it.
If the first sentence I bolded above is factually true, then the second sentence is mute. Since she left before NIL really came about it is speculation and conjecture as to whether or not she would have gotten it or raised it here.TexasScientist said:The program hasn't improved since Kim left. And you'll continue to wait, arrogant ass. No one in here owes you an answer for anything.MrGolfguy said:

Whoa, hold on there. Look in the mirror if you want to see an arrogant ass. I simply asked you a friendly, honest question about a comment you made (2 weeks ago now) that you are, for some unknown reason, refusing to answer. And when you finally come back to me its with name calling. Doesn't really matter if you answer or not, i pretty much know your answer anyway. Good luck.Bobby20 said:And you'll continue to wait, arrogant ass. No one in here owes you an answer for anything.MrGolfguy said:

Agree. Plus name calling adds nothing informative or persuasive to a discussion. It is weak, very weak when you have to resort to that. When you have to resort to that, you need to just not say anything, because anything you say is treated as trash talk and nothing more. Lends nothing to support your opinion, if you have one worth listening to. The boards should be about the topic, not the poster.MrGolfguy said:Whoa, hold on there. Anyone have any idea about her current NIL support? This is 100% the key now. Also, I still do not understand why her two main recruiting coordinators were fired here recently. I guess that could be good or bad. I guess they helped put the current team together, and I do not see this season finishing well (top 5 conference finish).
