I think many on here know WHY we went 0-3 against TCU.

But good luck with getting certain individuals to actually admit it.

TCU paid mega bucks two players that playing wnba this year…

TCU having 3 WNBA draft picks had nothing to do with it, right?

Technically 2 players - Prince wasn't drafted.

And only Van Lith is still on a roster at the moment (Madison Conner was waived 2 days ago).

Having said that - and from strictly a talent standpoint - Prince should have been a first rounder.

Too few of roster spots to gamble on her. And to be fair, I think even if she didn't have the issues off the court, she hasn't had a single season in college where she wasn't injured until this past year. Second round I would get - take a risk on her staying healthy, but there are only so many players retiring. I'm still questioning whether Van Lith will be on a roster by the end of the year.

They used the portal well and had a senior laden team. Dominoes fell in the right order for them and Baylor had a bad matchup.

When they finish in the Top 3 again, then we can worry. Won't be next season.

What makes you so sure they won't? Big 12 isn't great and they have a star and some solid pieces. Feel like top 3 is attainable for sure

Unlike last season, they have zero continuity.
The first season at TCU under Campbell should prove fairly indicative of results when the amount of turnover is that large.

Poor amount of dependable outside shooting. Ask multiple Baylor WBB teams over the years how a lack of outside shooting is a killer.

Lack of perimeter D. Tons of length inside, not so much outside.

Lack of depth. Having to slow the game puts a ton of pressure on half court O to have high efficiency.

Too many questions, not enough certainties.

I would never sell Campbell short. He is an excellent coach, knows how to put teams together, and what it takes to win. He will have another great year this year with Miles as PG. Would not be surprised if his team is in the top 2 in the Big12 next season. Big12 is not a strong conference compared to the other 3. Good chance we will finish at the top and win the conference.
