I'm pretty sure Odyssey ended up signing a full-year contract with Dallas. Which, if I remember correctly, is her first full-year contract in quite a while.

Also, I'm pretty pleased, and pleasantly surprised, that DLB is hanging onto a slot with the Mystics roster. I saw a pic of her recently that looks like she's bulked up quite a bit (relative to her small frame) since the end of the NCAA season.

Odyssey did sign a one-year deal with the Wings. Full circle (again). She had been filling in teams with end-of-season hardship contracts. I imagine she likes being in Dallas with family.

Hoping DLB shows enough in her development slot to get the nod to stay on. She puts so much into her game. They saw something they'd like to hang on to for awhile.

Also hoping Didi can work her way back into the W. She had two very good years in Australia. She needs to stay healthy!

Not sure they had room for either of them. Or wanted either of them.

Jordan Harrison from WVU went undrafted but has also been at training camp with Portland and did really well in their two preseason games. Seems like a good fit with the disruptive style of play there, so hope she can make it on the roster or at least a dev spot.

Johnson averaged 16 points a game in the preseason for Seattle who I believe is happy to have her.I think Golden State was wrong to send her packing.

Pre-season games aren't the same as in season regarding personnel etc. I think Johnson will do just fine. There is a lot of talent in the league. Golden State has seven guards without Joshson. Seattle has seven with her. It will be extremely difficult for her to get much playing time given the amount of experienced talent that sits ahead of her. I think she will be a better fit in Seattle, with better development, and I don't think Golden State cares whatsoever that she isn't part of their team. There are so many guards in the league, they prioritized veterans given its their second season in the league. They have two rookies on their roster. One of them is a guard. And she is on a development contract. I don't see Johnson opting for that level of contact, and I don't see a single guard on Golden State's roster that she should replace. These teams know what they are doing. Fans like to get emotional and talk about how crazy things are. There is a method to the madness, and regardless of talent level, every team has their priorities and their cap.

Good analysis.I guess that my next question is:was there someone still on the board(not a guard)that would have improved the team?
