Baylor is the only one out of the top 10 that appear to have really different numbers compared to the initial ranking number

Notre Dame better than Baylor? Did they miss the Louisville massacre?

It is hard to believe that 1 of the 10 NCAA Committee members

  • Jill Bodensteiner senior associate athletics director University of Notre Dame

missed the 33 point defeat of Notre Dame by Louisville

We will be a #1 seed in the end. Our sos will prove to be a non factor. The committee's opinion would cause concern for most schools. Not at Baylor. I can't help but think Geno is saying to himself, committe don't kick the BEAR!!!

Don't bet on a 1 seed. There are too many teams to leapfrog. Maybe a 2 but not a 1.

DOWN GOES THE DUCKS.... so I guess now the NCAA can replace them with the Beavers as the #1 seed in the Oregon Regional....

A real Dog fight ,er I mean Beaver/Duck fight down to the wire, so I am sure the Ducks will get a quality loss.

Oh wait Ionescu made a 3 pointer late to tie it and send it to overtime.....

well maybe the NCAA can let them co-host the regional so they can play each other in the regional finals...

That would make Oregon a #1 seed and Oregon St a #2 seed in the Region...

At least they will sell a lot of tickets this way...

Final score: Oregon St. 85 - Oregon 79 in OT.

No player from either bench scored....

Two players for Oregon scored 59 of their 79 points for the Ducks.
Two players for OregSt. scored 62 of their 85 points for the Beaves.

So all you have to do to beat the Oregon teams is stop 2 players.....

Oregon does go down in OT. Will the committee drop them to a 2 seed? Oregon plays OSU again Sunday and then UCLA next weekend. They could be the # 1 seed with a three game losing streak.

What a joke the committee is.

actually two down 3 to go, since Tennessee lost after the halftime "first reveal"...

Texas is next, cuz they have to play you know who...

Surely Shirly South Carolina will loose again to : Miss.St. Tenn. Georgia, A$M, or somebody......

Tennessee lost to Notre Dame on the road so I don't think they will lose much ground because of the loss.

BTW, hello to Southie, a UT fan who is an admirer of mine but too shy to comment on any of my impartial posts.

Oregon, promoted to a #1 seed in the first reveal, lost last night to Oregon State, so much for the first reveal being an indicator of what we will finally see.

Well, the committee did their job of stirring up talk and click numbers.

Just as long as they are more serious when they release the final rankings.

As long as we win the B12 and B12 tourney I like our chance at a 1-seed or at worst fifth overall.

Louisville goes down , who is next...

Notre Dame only plays two ranked teams the remainder of the season,

Fla.St. this week and later they play Duke...

Fla.St. will shoot up in the rankings after their win, and could slide back with a loss to ND..

Fla.St. also has to play Duke later this season.

I suspect a one seed will require three wins over UT. They are the only Top 25 RPI team on our schedule. The Big 12 has a few other teams in the bottom of the Top 25, but none of them are RPI Top 25. A lot may depend on how much the committee considers RPI -- but it appears they took it pretty seriously in this early round.

Honesty, we do better playing from behind. Screw ESPN all we have to do is finish strong the rest of the year.

All their good players are hurt and Muffet can't coach her way out of paper sack.

Notre Dame always gets too much respect. They could be down to four pigs and a goat and still get a 1 seed.

Notredame, is a mystery... they lose players.. and still perform well... great coaching.

Barely lost to Uconn. Huge loss to Louisville. Beat Tennessee.

Weird to predict their outcomes...
