I get it Morton is pitching really well but seriously, what is wrong with Miley? Right now he's the worst guy we could put on the mound with the game still to be decided.
Now that gas-boy gave up 3 more runs to make 8-1, sure leave him in, but I don't see why we didn't try to keep it at 4 runs while we still had a chance to come back. With our bats, getting 5 more runs in 4 more innings was very doable.

Miley didn't eat much in way of innings, but he did pad the Rays lead so a winnable game without him is now out of reach.sahen said:

I'd get it if we were down by 8 or 9 and brought him on in the 7th/8th, but the game was still in reach until he got the ball, now it's going to take a miracle to win today.
Winning today would do more for our bull pen than still using 3 or 4 pitchers today then having to go back out tomorrow.

I am fine with him pitching the ninth inning of game 7 in the World Series with a 17-run lead.
If we win 2 out of every 3 games then we will still win the World Series. The Rays are a good team and Greinke had a bad game. Take care of business tomorrow and we are still set up well for the ALCS.
