Through the tremendous adversity I've faced from purported "fans", to see this come full circle is nothing short of exhilarating. I fear there were some here that doubted my prognostications thus far. That's really sad.
That reads like you do Trump's tweets for him.

Hey, I'd hate to be one of the doubters like you. Can't imagine how silly you must feel. I know that pride hurts going down. It'll be ok.

Great win.
Got to win some on the road now. At least LA has beautiful weather.

and awesome weather in Houston when we come back....

the best thing is not having to use Keuchel or Verlander at all tonight.... not even to throw in the pen...

should be able to throw Keuchel vs Kershaw in game 1 and Verlander in game 2. both on full rest

awesome job by Morton and McCullers to let everyone else take the night off

I may or may not have visited a voodoo practitioner on Mortons behalf.

I had a blast at the Baylor Homecoming Game cheering and yelling for our Bears, and I also kept yelling whenever I got an Astros update, "Let's go Astros!" *clapclap clap clap clap*

GO 'STROS!!!

No, you simply guessed right about the team's results, attacked anyone who disagreed with you, then claimed credit for work done by other people.

Congratulations.

And?

Should have been nodding and saying yes instead of crying about check engine lights and slamming this team for their home record.

Youre just a bitter old man who's mad that GoldMind told you to shut the **** up and quit worrying, that this team was going to World Series and was unapproachable in his prediction.

So instead of Baylor, you went to Fictional State.

That was more about the process than a prediction, but whatever.

The happy facts for today:

1. The Astros are the AL Champs

2. The air smells fresher and cleaner, now that the Yankees have packed up and gone home

3. The media that spent all week predicting a NY-LA World Series is forced to give Altuve, Verlander and Houston their due respect

I'll not wade through the pissing match to see if anyone commented on it, but did anyone else think that Marwin had a pretty routine catch lined up before Springer went all Superman on the play?

The thing I saw on that play, is that both players were fixed on the ball and did not know where the other player was. Had the ball been dropped, that play could have affected the team chemistry later in the game. It worked out well, and I don't think either player is unhappy today.

No, they were not unhappy, but it just looked to me like Marwin had a very routine play and Springer made a spectacular one. I know it is standard procedure for the center fielder to catch whatever he can, and it was pretty spectacular.
