The short answer is no.

The longer answer is, no even back when he was sane he wasn't fit for office.

I've said since day one this will be the worst President in history with no competition.

Carter is closer to Lincoln, than Biden is to Carter. Biden is that bad.

Biden is easily the most brain damaged president since Woodrow Wilson .

Even more amazing is how almost everyone within his own party is fully aware of it…..yet say nothing .

And how the regime media, who told us Donald Trump was unfit and wanted to use the 25th Amendment, pretends he's not brain dead.
Imagine how ghetto and clownish the US will be if they keep this bs up for a few more decades.
there is a movie about it..

Biden is definitely unfit, but that doesn't make Trump fit. Anyone who spends their time trying to destroy Americans' trust in democracy is unfit.
oh boy. like the democrat party isn't purpose built to destroy systemic oppression. How can we trust people who believe in systemic oppression to faithfully administer the parts of said system they control?

No, your are.

People question an election which a majority of the public believes was plagued with irregularities in multiple states which affected the outcome, and you call them insurrectionists bent on destroying democracy.

You question the whole damned system as a capitalist power structure that systemically oppresses women, peoples of color, peoples of other faiths, peoples of the alphabet, for the benefit of colonialist patriarchy.....all cultural values and laws and societal institutions built and maintained to defend white supremacy.....and you are a great patriot.

And you want to be taken seriously?

No. Neither Biden is nor would Trump be.

Unless some new charisma emerges soon, in either party, we're screwed in '24, expecially if national parties are actually so studid as to nominate Biden and Trump again.

How 'bout a national referendum to neg BOTH in '24 and then see what the two political party primary process can come up with.

And no, no one whose last name is Harris or Trump can run either.

Fresh start.

I hear that sentiment not unfrequently, somewhat more softly spoken, from both sides of the aisle.

Not going to happen.

Your choice is going to be Trump or Socialism by race on behalf of the planet. Trump is much stronger in such a matchup than his critics can fathom, but they cannot say no to the forces that actually propel him.

Then it's going to be Socialism by race as Trump stands no chance of being president again .

His latest comments about Mitch McConnell's wife , seating arrangements at Queen Elizabeth's funeral and offer to negotiate a Russian - Ukraine peace agreement continue to reveal his compulsive egomania .

An egomania that is repulsive to all but his most die hard loyalists.

Trump's repulsiveness is cumulative.

Comment after stupid , tone deaf , politically suicidal comment has grown burdensome with many people .

Naturally his loyalists find some kind of perverse 'charm' to it…..but your average voter is fed up .

If the Republicans stand any chance at all in 2024 the party needs to find the stones to show Trump the door .

They would have never ransacked the house of an ex president unless they knew the upcoming mid terms were in the bag .

if you are wrong about that, and I'm firmly convinced you are, that begs questions about the other assessment.

the GOP neverTrumpers have one crucial error in their thinking - holding Trump to a higher standard than Democrats. Independent voters don't do that.

Back to the topic at hand...

If the Democrats get pounded in the midterms, I fully expect the left to turn on Joe. They'll do it as if they're just showing their empathy for the poor devoted public servant who gave everything to his country, including his mind. He is now, sadly, unfit to continue. MSNBC, New York Times, and others who are usually carrying water for the Dems will get their marching orders that it's time to put the useful idiot out to pasture as he's no longer useful and will need to be replaced for 2024.
Sic Everyone.

not really. They were looking for unity, to get away from mean tweets. They voted for the "amiable" guy. Now they know what a fools errand that was. (and I'm referring to polls on that question).

Until there are better Democrats to offer to take Joe's place, Joe will remain the figurehead in chief.

Harris has little to no support.

Pelosi is 82 and starting to show some decline.

That is the order of succession.

Good plan. If he runs, he'll win.

He's trying to take McConnell out, or force him to get with the rest of the party. McConnell is (like most old-school establismentarians) quite tone deaf to the mood of the new coalitions in the party., particularly on social issues If the mid-terms play out as they should, Trump will have significantly strengthened the party, and done so with candidates he endorsed, isolating McConnell somewhat. That would be a good thing. McConnell is likely to be the primary obstacle to what the GOP needs to do to win in 2024, campaign for which starts on 9 November 2022. The artillery barrages need to open on 03 January 2023, with investigations on multiple issues to include impeachment, and a long list of bills to repeal the Biden legislative accomplishments and executive orders. Jut fill up Biden's desk with bills the country needs but will be poison pills for the Democrat coalition. Legislate for the purpose of showing America just how crazy this lot of Democrats really are. That is particularly true on the social issues....most Americans do not yet fully appreciate how far queer theory has run thru public education, nor how fully the Democrats control the public institutions pushing it. Lots of work to be done there.

The point of "McConnell's Chinese wife" comments is to show how tied McConnell is to old establishments (globalism, pro-China trade & security policies, etc....) that need to go away. It's hardball politics. Trump can play nice, and did so while McConnell's wife was in his admin. He will do so again if McConnell will play team ball. Totally up to Mitch. If he's half the pragmatic guy he purports to be, he will come around a little.

McConnell is still trying to play normal politics at a time when the other side is playing regime politics.
People like that are serious problems, and have to get with the program or get gone.

You make several good points here .

But the average voter doesn't dig that deeply into the nuances of Trumps comments .

All they see up front is how boorish and racist such comments are . A growing perception of a horribly flawed individual.

So they don't vote for Trump ….and by extension…they don't vote Republican.

McConnells wife comments yes, the others are whatever.. I have heard much worse from currently elected officials and nobody blinks..

I think he would do quite well in negotions, thats his sweet spot.economy and foriegn policy were good under Trump(not Regan great but better than every president since) Dems never gave him much chance.

Trump's repulsiveness is cumulative.

Comment after stupid , tone deaf , politically suicidal comment has grown burdensome with many people .

Naturally his loyalists find some kind of perverse 'charm' to it…..but your average voter is fed up .

If the Republicans stand any chance at all in 2024 the party needs to find the stones to show Trump the door .
that would be ideal, showing that assbag the door so i could have a decent R choice. But i am not holding my breath.

Sorry

I don't believe that a significant number of the Biden voters in 2020 now care about China or the influence peddling the Biden family has done there or the millions they have accrued illegally .

As long as Biden's past voters get some token freebies .....they figure its more than what the Republicans will give them and its all 'good'.

Is this a joke?
No, your are.

People question an election which a majority of the public believes was plagued with irregularities in multiple states which affected the outcome, and you call them insurrectionists bent on destroying democracy.

You question the whole damned system as a capitalist power structure that systemically oppresses women, peoples of color, peoples of other faiths, peoples of the alphabet, for the benefit of colonialist patriarchy.....all cultural values and laws and societal institutions built and maintained to defend white supremacy.....and you are a great patriot.

And you want to be taken seriously?

Did you mean to peck this out to someone else? Can you quote even 1 post of me questioning capitalism?

This is just a list of lefty things you hate. It seems to be unhinged. Try to do better.

You make several good points here .

But the average voter doesn't dig that deeply into the nuances of Trumps comments .

All they see up front is how boorish and racist such comments are . A growing perception of a horribly flawed individual.

So they don't vote for Trump ….and by extension…they don't vote Republican.

tying one's political opponents as "too close to China" in the current environment is good politics.....
hardball, yes.
rough, yes.
not your normal Republican.....yes.
but effective, yes.

it fits some of those Alinsky's rules I quote from time to time....

Being racist isn't effective politics anymore. Its not 1810 any more.
Didn't phase Biden voters. So far hasn't hurt Fetterman and Democrat Party in general.
Joe Biden is the reflection of 81 million people. I thank God I am not one of them.
Probably the true reflection of about 69 million .

And if Biden's handlers finally get the war they seem so desperate to generate......that number could drop to............95 million .
