I will give you several. Atlantic Council is right-leaning on bias. You will disagree, why? Because life looks different when you are one of the haves...
Mapped: The World's Most Prosperous Countries in 2026 and Where Prosperity Outruns Freedom | Mappr
You tell me name one Nation with the wealth discrepancy we have where the normal person is better off? You give me a hard time about middle ground. Most of the world is the middle ground. You are an elitist and look out for the wealthy. Like Reagan's supply side, how much trickle down actually happened, the wealth differential sky rocketed.
Good grief. None of the Nordic Countries at the top of that list are a very good example of countries which sought to "punish the wealthy" via wealth redistribution like the various communist regimes which rose & fell during the 20th century. Indeed, one of the top 2-3 lessons of the 20th century is: "central planning doesn't work." Doesn't matter whether you do it on behalf of race (Nazi Germany) or on behalf of class (USSR). It is a prescription for disaster.
As for subjective measures like "Freedom Index".......our GDP per capita is TWICE that of the EU. Our poorest state has a higher GDP per capita than every country in Europe except for Germany. And the gap is widening as they continue to choke down their economies with onerous rules, high tax rates, and lavish social programs that over time tend to choke off private sector investment..
That is your problem, GDP is not everything. This index, it you looked at it says that openly.
It actually has very little impact on the common person's life UNLESS it is used for the betterment of the citizenship's quality of life. You continually take the position of the 1% with no concern for the 99% that actually have to live with your decisions. I hear it every week, the CFO saying we are good financially. Yeah, because you won't let us spend anything. Those Nation's balance the business with the quality of life. You don't have 65-year-olds worrying if they can afford their prescriptions or getting their teeth fixed. GDP is only a good metric for the common person based on how it is used. You guys are gutting the US and transferring the wealth to the elite.
That is going to be people' like yours's downfall, it is not all about GDP. The only people right now benefiting are those that can afford to worry whether they can get into the SpaceX IPO. Funny, since Trump won and Musk was allowed to DOGE the Government he is now a Trillionaire. Funny how that happens.
