This is one case where bombing somebody is warranted. This is not the same situation as Ukraine. Or Kosovo, or Somalia, or Viet Nam, or Afghanistan. Tim LaHaye was a good man and a fine Christian, and a successful author, but he was most likely wrong about the timing of the Rapture, the Church will not be raptured out before the Great Tribulation. No, LaHaye was not a prophet, and I don't think he claimed to be either.

He did get a lot of things right though. The Temple will be rebuilt. The Anti-Christ will ascend to power. There will be a Great Tribulation. Armageddon is coming. Jesus is coming again. But no, LaHaye was not a Prophet.

But Ezekiel was a Prophet. And he wrote about this, along with Daniel, Isaiah, Joel, and all the other Old Testament Prophets. And you can add Peter, Paul, and John to that list as well.

We would all be well served to study them more, especially as we see the Day of His Return getting nearer.

Totally sane here. I was a child but I do remember the terrible economy under Carter. I also understand the economic & historical implications.

Biden has not done ANYTHING reasonably well. He has been an unmitigated disaster. I'm looking at the big picture, not just the economy. Biden still has over a year to make the economy as bad as what Carter did, which he seems to be trying to do. Also, Carter was the culmination of a decade of terrible economic policies. Nixon ("We're all Keynesian's now!") was in office with the first oil crisis of the 1970s (which he did not cause but did help end) and gave us price controls and continued the terrible spending policies of his predecessors, which have only grown dramatically in the 50 years since.

Carter appointed Paul Volcker to the Fed and he was the one who eventually brought inflation under control.

Under Biden the deficit has doubled & is about $2 trillion!!! That is insane.

Just because you don't believe in the evangelical dispensational interpretation of the Bible doesn't mean that you don't value scripture or follow Christ. In fact the overwhelming majority of Christians throughout time and even on earth today understand that the Church is the Israel of God and the Jewish covenant has expired, don't believe the rapture myth, and are preparing for a time of great persecution and falling away.

God isn't coming to fight for a nation with gay pride parades.

That's a narrow analysis. Inflation and gas rationing. Those are a pretty easy fix if debt isn't out of control. And those things were fixed within 2-3 years after Carter got the boot.

What was the national debt when Carter was President and what is it now? How long is that going to take to fix? It won't be 2 - 3 years.

Who owns our debt now? China.

How many millions of illegals were pouring across our borders when Carter was President and how many millions are coming now? How long is that going to take to fix? It won't be 2-3 years.

When Carter was President, how many cities were filled with homeless encampments with drugs being used and sold out in plain site, with children walking by, and police ordered not to do a thing about it? How many cities are there like that now?

The list goes on.

Is it possible that you can't admit Biden is the worst because you helped put him there …. Because of your hate for Trump?…..

Jesus Christ said He did not come to abolish the law & the prophets but to fulfill it. The new covenant supersedes the new one but God's plans still include the Jewish people. One only needs to read the book of Revelation to see that.

The Bible may not use the word "rapture" but the doctrine is sound. Multiple scriptures are very clear that Christ will return. And He will rule His kingdom from Jerusalem.

God is coming to fight, not for any nation but for His people and to exercise His judgments on a corrupt world. Even if it was for a particular nation, the U.S. for example, you don't think the U.S. & other nations don't have gay pride parades? American perverts had an entire month (June) dedicated to their arrogance. In some of their parades, pedos were chanting about "coming for your children."

I don't pretend to be an expert on end times prophecy nor do I understand it all but some of it is very clear. Christ made prophecies Himself and even explained some of them.

Paul said, can God forget His promises to Israel? May it Never be. The Church has been grafted in to Israel. God does not forgot His promises to His covenant people. He is not a liar and He doesn't go back on His word. There is a lot more to it than this, but this is the main point. God has temporarily blinded the Jews eyes to the Messiah, so that the Gentiles can be grafted in - becoming sons and daughters of adoption. Israel is the older brother, and God is going to redeem them. Many will come to believe in Him in the coming days before He returns.

Does a Jew (Orthodox, Reform, or Conservative) who dies in 2023 go to heaven or hell?

No argument about Matthew 24, it describes the second coming not pre or mid tribulation rapture.
