That's no idle threat. If Iran loses its oil fields, it is in serious trouble economically.

Agreed

We should have destroyed them years ago.

Eh... most of us arent itching to pay $10 a gallon gas.

Won't need to.

Build more US refineries.
Pump more US crude.

We need to do both of those but without destroying any international production. That will get gas back to < $2 per gallon and boost the economy.

True

Takes too long to get refineries on line

Might be true, and if not, very well may happen.

But, if MacGregor is reporting it, I'd bet a good chunk of money it is BS.

Yep, pretty much. He also knows that thie boomer generation is the last one that will really support Israel like that and moving forward there will be less support for their wars.

Exactly!

They have maybe a decade left of enough Boomer Zionist Christians in this country to get whatever they want.

That's why they are escalating this.

I'd said this repeatedly, the one thing that unites the left and right of people under 40 is we are all tired of Israel receiving more support from our own government than we do!

Bibi went to DC to gauge the level of bipartisan support the Israeli lobbies have generated.

Suspect he discovered our politicians were safely in his pocket and only then began with all the assassinations.

We talk about the America we know being destroyed. The under 40 crowd is the biggest threat. What is it in it for them is all they care about. No sacrifice, no paying their dues so they actually know what they are doing, nothing for the greater good.

Pay their loans, let them work at home, no more seniority, US role in the world means nothing, college scholarship not enough to play football... They are just as big a threat as the Dems. Really, sick of hearing under 40 ***** about everything. Take your participation trophy and go away

Softest group of individuals ever produced by mankind. Careful though; your micro agressions and privilege are showing lol.

Really you can't even be mad at them. Someone parented them; poorly.

Unreal. If left to the under 40s, no Apollo, no Interstate, no Israel, no internet. But they would have great vacations, while their Mom and Dad's are working the crappy shifts (the same ones they worked paying their dues building seniority that no longer matters because it isn't fair and the under 40s won't do it)

Whoever came up with participation trophies should be prosecuted!

Those younger people without enough maturity or a sense of responsibility to others might very well find out the hard way what they took for granted: if the fascists get their way, we will all be equal equally miserable. That's how socialism operates. Meanwhile we also will have lost our freedoms and will be slaving away just to be able to buy food. We are already experiencing a sample of that body's to Bidenflation. Under socialism, there won't be as many food options available.

We are seeing the loss of selection at the stores already. I feel like we are caught between what I call "Corporate Communism" (loss of competition) and political Socialism. What started in the 90s with Walmart has matured into Amazon, Apple, Microsoft, Boeing, Coke, PepsiCo, etc. Small companies are eagerly getting bought out by bigger ones, killing competition.

I knew this had to happen. They do not have unlimited boots on the ground and this is probably why Bibi's generals have tried to dial it back.

Quote:

A day after Hamas attacked Israel and sparked war on Oct. 7, Adi Hazan drove to a rally point in southern Israel and began what he thought would be one or two months of emergency military-reserve service.

Nearly 10 months later, the machine-gunner is still deployedand the rest of his life is in shambles. His construction business is failing, he is sinking into debt, and his family relies on handouts from friends and charities. And he doesn't see an end in sight.

"I don't know what will happen," said Hazan, 41, who first served in Gaza and now is in the West Bank, where Israel has funneled troops to clamp down on tensions exacerbated by the war. "No one knew this situation would continue for so long."

A small nation with fewer than 10 million people, Israel relies heavily on reservists such as Hazan to keep its military functioning in times of crisis.

But now, with the war in Gaza heading into its 11th month, and long-running exchanges of fire with regional militias such as Hezbollah heatingup many of those fighters are close to a breaking point. Exhausted and in some cases demoralized, they are struggling to balance family and work with military service, while the economic toll from their absences mounts.

Quote:

The strain on military manpower is one reason Israeli officials are hesitant to launch an all-out war against Hezbollah, which would require the same cohort of weary reservists to fight against a military power far superior to Hamas.

It is also exposing longer-term vulnerabilities for Israel as it confronts the possibility of conflicts with hard-to-conquer militias on its borders for years to come.

"Israel did not prepare itself for a long war; we thought about a big strike of the air force and then a fast maneuver by the ground forces," said former Israeli National Security Council head Yaakov Amidror. "The longer the time, the more problematic it is to maintain the support and the readiness" of the fighting forces.

Worst defeat for Israel in decades.

Massive counterattacks will have to be made or other Muslim groups will be encouraged to join the attacks on Israel.

US taxpayers will be called upon yet again to supply billions of dollars in aid. This time to Israel.

Serious question…we give them billions in modern weaponry and Abrams tanks…yet they still have trouble oppressing some Palestinians with rocks, AK-47s, and home made rockets? How is that possible…

Shouldn't help Israel, right. Stop all funding….

Why should US taxpayers continue to fund a Jewish supremacist racial apartheid state?

One that continues to engage in settler-colonialism in the West Bank…in clear violation of international law?
We shouldn't. I want to make the distinction between the the Israeli citizens and the current govt. That govt is absolutely horrible. Bibi is a horrible man like Trump, trying to stay out of jail whlle he effs up the country. That settlement crap is just so wrong. They are involved in Genocide. Time to cut Israel OFF. NO aid, No munitions. Go at it alone.
