The mRNA vaccine was a different beast than the 1950s way of testing vaccines. That's because of the advances made in computing and the human genome project. Scientists were able to sequence COVID and run millions of scenarios against it to find the best solution with the least side effect in days.
I understand why people are reluctant because of the speed and newness of mRNA vaccines. What I don't get is reluctance to use proven vaccines.
look at how many vaccines your grandparents took and they survived just fine, look at how many vaccines your parents took and they survived just fine, look at how many vaccines you took and your surviving just fine. Look at how many vaccines kids are currently scheduled to get.
