It's based on a true story!

It is reminiscent of totalitarian regimes a century ago which turned kids against parents.

And then there are those who, on January 6th watched it on live TV, watched leading Republicans condemn Trump for his actions in addition to members of his own staff, such as the following:

Former Trump aide Griffin: I will never not get sick to my stomach thinking about the fact Donald Trump sat in the room off the Oval Office watching Fox News, scrolling through Twitter, seeing police officers being beaten, hearing Mike Pence was moved to a secure location because his life was in danger, and said 'so what?'

And then there are those who say so what that's history what does that matter now? They didn't seem to want to respond to the question of what if he had been successful. No, they just rationalize it away and vote for him anyway. This is where we are as a nation, and we are to blame. We gripe and troll, but most of us do little else.

That would be the Dems. Actually, it would be the taxpayers: the FBI & CIA were there in force.

You've been told this was an orchestrated event with intent to overthrow the government and install Trump…you believe it without a second thought.

If a small amount of people could accomplish such a task, then you'd have to concede that our government is incompetent, helpless and can't govern nor protect itself: if it's that weak then it can't uphold our rights…wouldn't you say that's a much bigger threat to America than anything else? I mean if J6 supposedly could overthrow power, then you're pointing your finger at the wrong people.

You would also have to prove that Trump orchestrated all of this, of which there are no facts to support such claims.

In reality it was mob mentality carried out by people who are constantly gaslight by their government and fellow citizens…like you whose trying to gaslight this forum into believing false narratives about J6.

Amusing how some people insist that few hundred unarmed protestors , a significant percentage of whom were grandmothers and grandfathers ……..

were a legitimate threat to overthrow the government of the United States.

Shows the incredible power of corporate owned propaganda platforms.

"You would also have to prove that Trump orchestrated all of this, of which there are no facts to support such claims"

No I don't. The logistics prove it had to be many more than one. However, for those who watched it on live television, from before his "speech" to the "mob" event, to during the time our capital was vandalized, people hurt, officers assaulted, legislators fearing for their lives, Trump sitting on his butt watching his lovely people, etc. And then watching key Republican leaders blast him for his actions, over the next several days, not counting the additional evidence that will come out if he loses.

For you to make that statement is sadly indicative of too many others who rationalize away the truth, no matter how much evidence is and will be presented. How you and others have been manipulated will be the focus of much research.

The amazing part of the libtard worldview is nothing is connected. Every event and comment occurs in complete isolation to fit whatever bull**** is being pulled over on the people at that moment.

For example, one can say senior citizens walking through the Capitol is the biggest THREAT TO DEMOCRACY since the Civil War but then also believe this:

With no embarrassment. You can not have a rational discussion with them because they create a complete new reality in the moment toward whatever end it is trying to find a means.

More than one what?

Anytime I hear someone claim that there had to be more than one or some such vague statement, I am reminded of those who claim Jeb Bush was behind 9/11 because reasons.

This was a protest that turned into a riot, not an "insurrection." I say this as someone who never voted for Trump and never will.

As you cuddle up in your blanket of denial. The truth of January 6th continues to be hard for many to deal with. Even harder is thinking about what the truth would be if he had been successful. Perhaps you would like to try?

Glad to hear your brief thoughts on voting for Trump.
As for your interpretation of the event, try looking up "insurrection" in the dictionary. Plus it's obvious not all were of that intent; however, that was its purpose.

Let me try……

After beating the capital hill police with their bare hands, this dangerous group of old farts would have overwhelmed the combined swat teams from the FBI and CIA by throwing their soiled Depends over the faces of the federal agents .

Finally these grandpas and grandma's would have destroyed the tanks and heavy artillery of regular army units by spitting their dentures at them.

The slaughter would have been immediate and Trump
would have proclaimed himself dictator for life.

His first act would be to raid the personal residence of Barrack Hussein Obama and arrest Hillary Clinton for violating modified laws from the state of Arkansas.

The intent was that the military would support the insurrection. No one is saying a few thousand rioters could have accomplished it on their own.
