Maybe do but above all else, transgenderism is a mental illness. It's a crazy ideology based upon obvious lies.
"covert narcissism."

  • An over-inflated sense of self-importance. (victims uber alles)
  • Lack of empathy. (your feelings & thoughts are irrelevant)
  • A need for excessive admiration. (AFFIRM ME!!!!)
  • Sense of entitlement. (The entire situation is about me: don't get my pronouns wrong, dammit!)
  • Surrounding yourself with superficial relationships. ("allies")
  • Taking advantage of others for personal gain. (Lia Thomas)
  • Resistance to change. (outrage/fear when encountering reality, )
  • Hyper-focusing on fantasies of grandeur. (changing m millennia-old civilizational views on gender, as a mission to save democracy from fascism).

It's not just mental illness. A lot of crazy people are happy in their own little world, wandering streets talking to themselves making few if any demands on anyone. Transgenderism is a psychopathy which is almost totally aimed at coercing participation from everyone else.

It is a form of fascism. Other fascists do some of the same things but focusing on other issues: race, sexuality, class, etc. They view themselves as victims for the silliest of reasons although they have not been harmed by anyone. The only "harm" is in their minds because the rest of us think for ourselves and refuse to bow to their Marxist demands. It's all based upon Marxist tactics of creating division & chaos and the fascist elites deserve much blame for causing & promoting this using lies, deceit, & manipulation.

They are fascists because of their Marxist ideology & tactics. They often act like thugs, bullies trying to impose their will on everyone else. Fascist politicians promote this stupidity because it gives them more power which they worship & desire above all else.

Any way you look at it, it is evil.

Quote:

Some observers told me they expected a 6-3 ruling, down ideological lines. Others thought that the sometimes libertarian-minded judges might shy away from regulating medical care to this extent. There will be no decision for many months and when it does come, it won't be definitive. Rather, it will affect how lower courts scrutinise the claim of sex discrimination. But it could have huge implications. If the court decides that transgender people are a protected class, it will be very hard to pass a ban on treatments for them, or any regulations which privilege biological sex over gender identity, in sports or elsewhere.

That's unlikely, as the court hasn't created a new protected class in many years, declining to define either the elderly or disabled people as such. But the justices could decide that the onus is on states to prove they're not discriminating based on sex, making it harder to uphold bans.
If all that sounds anticlimactic, then consider the other historic aspect of the day. It may be the first time the American media came face to face with the many feminist, lesbian, gay, and even trans adults in favour of banning paediatric gender medicine.
More:

Quote:

These people were trying to draw attention away from the Left-Right framing that the American press applies to this story, and towards the fact that the vast majority of children with early-onset gender dysphoria grow out of those feelings by the end of puberty. They were revealing the feminist objection to men identifying as women and demanded entry to women's spaces and sports. They were showing the American public that there remains much of this story they haven't been told.

Whether the American media takes this opportunity to reassess the long-running narrative beyond the Left-Right framing that conservatives ban gender-affirming care because of bigotry and liberals support it because of kindness remains to be seen. Inside the courthouse press room, I asked journalists from Vanity Fair, NBC, and other liberal outlets if they'd seen the rally of lesbians, gays, and feminists in support of the ban. "Oh, the anti-trans rally, yes," they uniformly quipped. In taking this stance, they were every bit as closed off to other points of view as the justices had been.

It won't be news to you that the mainstream media lie without compunction about this stuff. You shouldn't assume, though, that they are lying consciously. They also lie to themselves. I read a piece recently, which I can't find now, in which researchers found that when ordinary people have the actual facts of childhood transition explained to them that is, what it medically entails, and the fact that the vast majority of children and minors with gender dysphoria resolve it by the time they are 20 or so support for trans "care" for minors drops precipitously. This is exactly the kind of information that our media, and the medical-industrial complex, deny to the public.

When Donald Trump assumes office, I hope and pray that the US Government will go very hard against this evil. Given how narrow the GOP House majority will be in the new Congress, it is probably too much to expect Congress to legislate against it, unless there are more sensible Democrats, like Rep. Seth Moulton of Massachusetts, willing to vote to protect children than there are squish Republicans who defect. Of course I think there should be strong anti-trans legislation across the board, but it is probably not possible at this point. But we can at least stop the sexual mutilation of children, and can prosecute doctors and medical industry executives who facilitated this horror. Can't we?]

Immutable: your skin color, your ethnic background, your nationality of birth. Things that cannot be changed.

Homosexuality/Bisexuality can change daily depending upon your whim or desire. Surgically altering yourself is personal choice, not a required mandate.

Doctor friend once told me this - "We have forgotten how to die. Half the money that will be spent on healthcare in a lifetime will be spent in the last 6 months of it."

Somehow, we've got to address that. I don't like the above solution at all, but the conversation hasta start somewhere.

I remember my Dad's Aunt dying at 68 in 1969. Everyone saying she had a long life and at least she got to live her life. I am now 61, I am not sure I agree with them.

Man there's a lot of truth to that. You don't care that much what happens to the old people until you start to become one. Eek

And in other news, life insurance doesn't pay out until your dead (for most).

So yeah, seems like the costs being heavily skewed towards old age is how it should be, because when the average person is young, the body does all the work and needs little assistance. When you are old, that's when you need the help the most. Health insurance companies know this. They still manage to make their money. The US finds money for everything under the sun in taxes, so maybe let's look elsewhere before just flipping off our seniors.

"Just go ahead and die already", that really seems like nothing more than corporate propaganda. I assure you the ones benefiting from saving the country some money won't be doing the same for themselves.

You miss the point. The question is not that old people don't deserve care. It's that we spend too much on people who are dying. HALF of the total. And that money is not spent by insurance companies. It's spent by taxpayers. (Medicare).

I'm 64 and have an 88yr old mother, so it's not like I'm not currently in the bubble I'm speaking about.
