I was willing to wait and see. Give the guy credit on his first term, but this is just a different animal. He is tanking the economy, American influence world wide, and screwing over the next few generations of Americans.
He unilaterally declared economic war on the world, with no apparent plan. I think it's safe to say, given all his lying and flip flopping, there was never a real plan. Maybe a vague outline drawn on a napkin. Similar to the first term, but worse outlines this time.
My future prediction is you are wrong on every one of your takes.

The only thing or certain is that no matter what happens, his zealot followers will declare it a total victory.
Probably the greatest biggest hit the economy has ever taken in any administration's first 100 days, but it's all sunshine and 3D chess to you!
And his zealot detractors will only give him credit for something when they think they have something else "really bad" about him to bring up. Please do avoid that trap.
I too think the tide will turn on the economy, and zealot detractors will have to find something else to beef about.
BTW, it is really best to avoid posting anything that might prove out to be as wrong as that BaylorBJM Biden approval ratings debacle.
I'm willing to give credit if there is a completely turnaround, but real damage has already been done. These things have massive inertia. It's very difficult for the world economy to just wake up one day and say "oh great, trade deals have been made, back to the great economy we had in January!" In just the American market, trillions have been lost. Retirees have had to make cuts, cancel vacations, businesses have already failed, tourism is down, inflation is still hanging on and possibly rising again soon, our relationship with allies has been damaged, the credibility of the federal government damaged, promises and treaties violated, I mean the list just goes on.
And how long before we get back to the economy Biden handed off? That's the thing the zealots don't get. It is worse right now, than when we had our elections. They don't accept facts like those. To them it's Trump heaven, the best first 100 days ever, when instead the markets tanked more than ever in anyone's first 100 days.
To add 1 more thing, we have to account for time and opportunity lost. Say Trump had put in place policy good for business like he did the first term. Where would the economy be right now?
