I don't think Trump can continue to try and get away with just ignoring or minimizing this issue. He's going to need to be more proactive with taking it on. He's slowly alienating more and more of his base over this.

It's not. "If" Trump is innocent, he should have told the truth. "We were friends but I never saw him ped out"
He's said that a bunch of times. It's obvious that was so.

Instead, he demands that we ignore all the pics, all the documentation. And he clearly is covering up, something.

There's about 800 billionaires in the USA. They don't all know one another, but they do know who one another is. 120 of those billionaires live in NYC. Most of them do know one another. They all get invited to the same parties, particularly fundraising events.

Of course they knew one another. Of course they want to a lot of the same parties. And, of course, Trump's opponents will try to spin that into something nefarious. That's how the game of politics is played.

Here's your problem, though - remember that recent media interview where all those Epstein victims were asked if any of them ever saw or heard of Trump doing anything untoward to any of them.....and they all said "no?"

My guess is the Epstein files, if released, will be used selectively by both parties to attack the other party's reputation.
I'd be ok with a cleaning out of the Congress and donors who perpetuate pedophilia. but it could be a very damaging event that might make the government impotent and open to more radicals being elected/appointed in the short term.

And maybe all that is left is sealed court cases. Impossible to open. These are deals designed to protect the innocent. If you were a girl/woman and you were repeatedly raped over and over but hadn't thought about it for decades, why would you want to repeat that horrible event? They did nothing wrong, but certain people wanted to force them to do exactly that for their own gratification.
