My grandson plays football at a Frisco high School. Overall its a pretty good district.. This sort of thing should not happen.

I read a few stories on kwtx on Facebook about this and made the mistake of reading some of the comments.

There are all sorts of "details" being thrown out there that I have not seen in any news story yet.

Things like
1. He was not a track athlete but just hanging out under his schools tent
2. The attacker tried to sit under that tent but went to a different school and was asked to leave and when he didn't he was "told" to leave
3. Both twins "attacked" him
4. Both twins "bullied" him
5. The dead twin put his hands on the other kid first
6. The twins are "known bullies" at their school
7. The twins "jumped him"
8. It was self defense


Which a lot of those are things added by people in the comments (mostly by blacks seemingly trying to defend the attacker) and often by people from all over the state or even country that would have no clue what happened.

The self defense, twins attacked/jumped him doesn't make sense in that all the news stories say they attacked was able to open his bag to get the knife out and stab. Which if you are being jumped, attacked, punched, kicked, etc. that is hard to do.

The attacker told the police he was "not alleged, I did it." And the. Asked the officers if it could be labeled self defense.

Why did he have a knife at a track meet?

Why did he go to another schools tent?

Why did he not leave?

Almost seems like he wanted a confrontation since he brought a knife and went to another schools area.

Just so many details still missing.

No doubt the victims parents better play along or they will receive death threats by the dozen.

Kid from other school decided to take up residence in another schools rest tent.
Kid was asked to leave, kid said "touch me and see what happens", he was touched and ecalated it by saying,
"Hit me and see what happens."
Then Austin tried to physically move him, kid turns and stabs him twice in the heart with a large knife.
Walks away, throws the knife away and then was apprehended by police and claimed self-defense.

So a kid premeditatedly, looking for trouble, suckers someone into trying to remove from where he didn't belong, was ready and waiting for what would happen by carrying a weapons level knife to a track meet, then took another kids life.

Obviously premeditated trouble, intentionally provoked the trouble, murdered the other kid, claimed self defense.

If this is how it went down, there may be a mental issue involved in the attacker. I've dealt with kids of several races with burned out brains from drugs that might have done this kind of thing. They were in public school. Got to wonder. The attacker likely would have known his life would be pretty much over after stabbing someone in public. Something beyond political brainwashing seems at work here.

Not suggesting there should be any less of a punishment at play in the kid's trial - will likely be tried as an adult if not 18 - but I suspect there will be a mental issue as part of his legal defense.

I've read the killers profile. He seemed like a good kid.
Good football player, ran track but was pretty slow, 12.4 100 meters is not fast.
Showed to have good grades.

But, you don't bring a big ass knife to a track meet and you sure don't stab someone in the heart from
being shoved.

There were many witnesses. The family and lawyers of the defendant will come up with all kinds of stuff, but eventually the truth will come out with so many around the incident.

Something may have snapped with him.

Just want to say that there are no viable excuses for taking such a weapon to a track meet. There is also no chance in hell that his life was at risk and therefore he needed to murder Austin.

Death penalty is the only justice. Anything less is unacceptable.
This kid is a murderer and he needs to be removed from the planet immediately.

I would bet not that many. Most people with concealed carry permits know to follow the rules/laws and not to carry to places that ban it. Like schools, stadiums, bars, etc.
