Even if Trump does succeed in ending this war……currently regard Reagan's success in getting the Berlin Wall torn down the single most influential piece of US foreign policy since the Vietnam War.
However even if Trump ends this war; adds ending the Russian Ukrainian War to his peace list…..he will never garner the Peace Prize.

An amazing thing. Of course he claimed to stop the war before too, but it does seem different this time. I think most of the credit has to go to the IDF for beating Hamas into submission, but the US definitely plays a major role in providing security for both sides.
I did read we are sending 200 troops to monitor the area. I am not so on board with boots on the ground. Maybe if other countries also sent similar forces, like the Saudis, Jordanians.

That was the perfect year to join. We had about 20 years of mostly skirmishes but not war. (Beruit being the most tragic) (of course you had no way of knowing that)
