Lib " There are no 'ordinary Palestinians'".

Of course, there are just as many ordinary Americans.

Being raised to hate Jews and wanting the elimination of Israel I don't see as normal. The ones that do not espouse this thought cannot speak up for fear of being killed. Having visited with a few Israli soldiers, the collect ive of tham said, "We need to kill them all."

Whataboutism?

my point is not what about my point is that both sides as a abiding hatred. And what's the difference between Israel, wanting to eliminate Palestine and wanting to eliminate Israel. These issues go deep

Israel has made concession after concession to have peace in the ME. Each time, either Palestinians or Arab nation(s) have disregarded their attempt to make peace.

It seems Israel has changed their approach-at least up until the current cease fire.Which is why the Palestinians need security from the IDF and Hamas. But how of the security forces may lie with the United Nations. In some ways the UN is responsible for this mess because in 1947 when they founded Israel because there was huge disregard of the Palestinians

Resolution 181 included a Jewish and Arab state with Jerusalem as in "international city." That does not represent "a huge disregard of the Palestinians" on the part of the U.N.

Under Resolution 181, would Palestine be a free, independent state like Israel?

That got blown out of the water by the almost immediate war.

You didn't answer my question

The point is it doesn't really matter if one side tries to change it by war within minutes of the UN resolution.

Here is the answer to your question from good old Wikipedia- 1948 Arab-Israeli War:
The conflict escalated into a civil war 30 November 1947, the day after the United Nations adopted the Partition Plan for Palestineproposing to divide the territory into an Arab state, a Jewish state, and an internationally administered corpus separatum for the cities of Jerusalem and Bethlehem.

Historically, look before the 1948 Partition. Was it fair.?
