How do you know it wasn't because of it? If you force people to be self-reliant, generally speaking they will be stronger for it. I know that certainly applies to myself.

Valid point. It might be a bit of both. The Great Society began the process of re-enslavement by making more and more blacks dependent on the government. Today it's a multi-generational failure.

Bringing back segregation is the solution to all the fatigue we are experiencing!... at minimum allow people options... if Blacks want to self-segregate, let them! If Whites want to self-segregate, let them! If people want to live in a mixed multi-racial community, let them! Freedom of association is a fundamental right that was stripped from Americans by the civil rights movement.

Personally, I think we will find all people are happier and more productive when they are NOT forcible integrated together and stripped of self-determination.

If laws had been enforced, expectations held equally high for all immigrants and citizens, a large majority of this would not be happening today.

Look at the black family in the US. As soon as the racism and politics of low expectations started replacing fathers with a check the percentage of nuclear families started to decline.

PP didn't put abortion clinics in mine and your neighborhood but put them in the black/minority neighborhoods.

Those things impact a culture.

In the 50s, black families were making incredible, positive strides. Some laws and expectations were not being equally enforced but as a group there were many positives.

Democrats combined with academia and rather than coarse correcting, they swung the pendulum well to the other side. And here we are today with the black family destroyed and low expectations being lived out.

It's real easy to make the same mistake as the Dems and academia did but swinging that pendulum the other direction.
