Socially libertarian basically means, I have enough trouble keeping my own chit between the lines and it is not my place to judge or be interested what grown ups do in their bedroom. Open borders is not libertarian socially. Different issue. I am not for open borders. I am for having laws and enforcing them. Not for birthright citizenship, either. Having said that, we desperately need immigration, but it has to be a net positive and lawful. Drugs....I could care less. Alcohol is the most abused drug in the world and very dangerous with lots of really bad outcomes. I have seen it. Never saw someone smoke weed to death. Booze? On the daily. I have lost friends. We celebrate it. Prostitution...have at it. World oldest profession. Libertarian to me is live and let live unless it is harmful to people. Just where I come down, good sir.

Libertarianism is just utopian conservativism. Sad part is that the libertarians are made up of the "just wanna buy drugs" crowd and the ", you get a missile, you get a missile, everyone gets a missile" crowd. Virginia teacher Abby Zwerner and other staffers repeatedly warned an assistant principal about the first-grade student who shot Zwerner in her classroom in 2023, according to testimony at the administrator's trial on Tuesday.
Prosecutors say that despite days of violent and aggressive behavior by the 6-year-old boy, Richneck Elementary School administrator Ebony Parker did not search the boy or intervene in any way.
Parker is charged with eight counts of child neglect one for each bullet in the boy's gun when he brought it to school.
