ah....no Obama Care any longer there Little Johnny. Reason I spent 2yrs on it , but it was ALL I could get. So,mr Obama care had to create an LLC, with 3 employees, run payroll several times and was able to get BCBS Gold plan for 2 at $2500 per month. Plus my international Health Insurance. LLC was about $4K all in. /So, I think I have it covered. Paying my fair share Little Johnny. How's your Medicare/Medicate and unemployment? I'd also tell you I pay my fair share of taxes in the US......

Tell you what, this crowd will make you a Liberal quickly when you actually read what they believe and want. Seeing it in writing makes a difference. The things they are defending are mind-numbing.

So, far.

Eliminating the only access to Health Care for 23M people.
Drilling in environmentally protected places
Federal Agents shooting protestors in the streets
Not going after the Epstein accomplicies
Tesla putting lithium in the water supply in Texas (this one really gets me as many live there!)
Taking Greenland from Denmark
Blanket tariff's on the world by the Soro's Finance expert (Who they called Satan 18 months ago (Soros)
Backing Putin over Ukraine
Attacking the Pope over him not wanting us to blow up civilian targets

I will leave blowing up boats in the Caribbean and invading Iran as they both have reasons.

All in a year...

He pays $4k/mo and thinks that's just grand because he's "paying his fair share." Classic textbook example of "luxury values." i.e. JR can afford to insulate himself from the consequences of his politics, and then surprise surprise manages to contrive virtue in being able to afford stuff the plebes cannot.

Yep - drives them insane that he isn't the typical milquetoast George W. Bush like Republican that just smiles, lays down, and lets the dims run over him as they simultaneously drag the country down to the fullest extent possible.

So is Trump going to get the SAVE act passed? It doesnt look like it. Are there still going to be mass deportations? Nope bc of bad optics and pressure from donors who want cheap labor. We will get endless h1b indians to replace Americans at their jobs and we will get 600k Chinese students to take spots at our universities that should go to Americans. We will also keep birthright citizenship. Basically, Trump 2.0 will only get the border closed which will be reopened once the next dem president gets elected.

Newsflash - the POTUS can't do jobs constitutionally mandated to Congress. Agree it's frustrating the Republicans haven't passed the SAVE act yet as they should have - but I don't think it's time to totally give up on it yet. And I don't know where you've been, but mass deportations of dangerous illegal aliens are happening. Agree that I wish they were happening faster and in even greater numbers, but they are happening and that most certainly wouldn't be going on if Kommiela had won. As far as birthright citizenship goes, again, the POTUS can't do jobs constitutionally mandated to the SCOTUS. And finally, Trump 2.0 is less than a year and a half old - why are you assuming nothing positive will happen over the next 2 1/2 years plus?

I shudder to think what the last year plus would've been like if Trump wasn't the president.

Spoken like a true Jeb! republican.

Doing little to nothing that your voters want is what gives the Dems power - because voters stay home.

Your ideas are intriguing to me, and I wish to subscribe to your newsletter.

Ok, an improvement getting closer to where I am on the Political scale. More a combination, going back through past modern Presidents I am more on the Eisenhower part of the scale. I believe his views on Domestic over Foreign and not want direct intervention. I would rather spend the money we have in Iran on Health Care reforms/infrastructure or Public Infrastructure. Which is why I liked Trump 1, this is not that...

no fella. that clown call me Mr. Obamacare. my point is how effed up the US HC system /Insurance drives cost . yep, I was on O care due to a pre-existing condition. I hope you never have one or you and your lot may have a different perspective. Additionally, I was pointing out the costs I had to incur to do a work around to get regular insurance for 2. It sucked, and was basically catastrophic, better than nothing. pipe down with the luxury value. Never heard of it, but I don't have it. You good with denying people HC for pre-existing conditions? Cancelling the less fortunate who get subsidies , while you and your Maga buddies just keep feeding at the trough. If you mean luxury values....I'm not on the dole of any kind. that is luxury in my book.

My brother has to use Obamacare, small business owner, it is the only way he can get health insurance to cover Diabetes. The others won't touch him at 61. He is not alone.

I know the Baylor crowd views it as his own fault for not successful enough life choices OR

he should sit at home staring at the wall to pay the insurance premium as a penalty for having Diabetes or not making good enough choices.

OR

He can go to the ER when it is time to start cutting off appendages...

Never mind that most of the modern 1st world has reasonable healthcare, they are the irresponsible ones, right? ACA is irresponsible...

Insurance does frustrate the cost management function of free markets by not having published pricing for health care. So customers cannot make informed decisions. No one even asks what the cost is. But by far the larger part of the problem is Medicare. By choosing to pay at or slightly below cost, Medicare forces the industry to shift burden over to private sector. It's a well-known factor.

it's almost like our HC system was purpose built NOT to manage costs. Trump has made bigger improvements, in both quantity and quality, than any of his predecessors.

I'm noting the obvious: this is a long-time moderate Democrat pollster working with Harvard University, ergo it's not easily to write off the results as Maga activism or a news unit trying to make rather than report news.

US Gas Prices Hit Highest Level In 4 Years, Analyst Says

"The national average price for a gallon of gas was $4.17, "the highest level since 2022," and surpassed the $4.16 price reported earlier this month, said GasBuddy analyst Patrick de Haan in an X post on April 28.
"We'll continue to head higher for now," he added.

The American Automobile Association (AAA) also said the price for a gallon of regular gas reached just above $4.17, showing a 6-cent increase from Monday.

The price of gas and oil surged after the United States and Israel launched strikes on Iran on Feb. 28, prompting the country to respond by attacking ships in the Strait of Hormuz and launching its own strikes on neighboring countries in the Middle East.

Diesel was significantly higher on Tuesday, with AAA showing the price for a gallon at $5.46, an increase of 2 cents over Monday's average."
