The GOP is belatedly following the Dems' example. They have gerrymandered the GOP out of several states: look at New England with about 30-40% GOP voters and ZERO representation. California, Illinois, & others are almost as bad. The fascists have been doing it for decades so their whining now should fall on deaf ears.

Trump personally approvals are down roughly 10pts from his baseline across most polling units. But are his approvals are having a commensurate impact on the generic ballot? The polls with the best recent records are suggesting not.

One thing that must always be remembered about political polls in election years: they tend to overstate the strength of the Dems. That's why the professional talking classes (a bunch of wind bags) were shocked when Trump won in 2016 and again in 2024. Many Americans were not surprised at all because we think for ourselves, pay little attention to the fascist propaganda machine (aka "MSM"), and vote based upon real issues instead of the insane fantasies of the Left (trans cult, climate cult, DEI, etc).

Problem I see there is that the positives for the GOP are very close, some within Margin of Error range. The GOP voters closer to the fence. The Dem voters are strongly in the Dem camp on what is important to them, mostly Medicare and SS. Throw LGBTQ out, that is misleading the number where that will make the difference is miniscule in terms of votes it just is a good red herring.

The question is whether the other categories can hold for the GOP?

Political question, we keep getting into wars will Trump be looked at as the most competent for National Security or a Hawk that is getting us into never ending wars? He has to get us OUT of the Middle East fighting and NOT start another one.

They also have to stop with the shoot in foot comments.

The Never Trumper is an issue for the GOP, especially in the Presidential. There are many who have voted a lifetime of GOP that do not agree with him or Vance. Most voted for Trump 3 times and believe they are watching a spiral, at least in their lives.

Idiots like DanielJackson calling these people Liberals and Progressives are missing the point. Whether he or his ilk believe them the middle ground voter is ready to give the other side a try. Looks like the GOP protected the Senate with redistricting and the Court picks. Presidential will be interesting, especially if the US is still fighting somewhere in the world.

Will be interesting to see if Trump can deliver economic prosperity to those making less than 300k a year that is felt in day to day life not shown in graphs.
