If there had been social media in his day, LBJ would have had separate screens in the Oval Office to keep up with his posts on Tik Tok, Instagram, Snapchat, Facebook, X, WhatsApp, and for every news outlet to track who he needed to berate next. The man spent time on his recorded presidential phone talking about his big balls needing custom pants. And he didn't need to challenge any election when he could actually stuff the election box. His strong arm tactics in the House were legendary. He couldn't get elected a second time because he had alienated too many in his own party, presided over false pretense to increase US involvement in Vietnam, lied to the public constantly, and ordered his cabinet to do the same to cover for his and his advisors blunders. LBJ was so fun to work for that he had an 83% cabinet turnover rate in his only full term.

Here is my view, the way you Texans know and feel about LBJ, New Yorkers know and feel about Trump. Trump is much worse than LBJ to me, because I grew up with Trump's BS and cons. All i know of LBJ is what history taught. You being from Texas know much more about LBJ than I do.
